i like how douchessmcgee is down as the 18-25 age group yet admits he's still a minor and then spouts off some random offhanded catholic comment about the way the girl died....

"to fall in love with her persona"

:[ I'm in love with Snake...and deep down, I know his tough-as-nails-killing-machine exterior is really a persona.

Wow.. I knew Megan.
she was the sweetest girl i ever knew, very pretty too. she is greatly missed. that lady screwed over not only megan's life, but the life of all the kids in our neibhorhood (sp?) who knew and loved megan.

RIP Meg, From Jared and Eddie

Teenagers get emotionally attached to everything, yes, true. And anything ruining the attachments will have explosive response, correct.

However, very very few of these end up with suicide, as these kids either have support from others, or they realize there's more to life.

This girl obviously has neither. And the woman can't be held responsible for it. She shouldn't have started the relationship in the first place, and she should have given support, but she's not at fault for the girl not realizing that breaking up with a boyfriend is not the end of the world.

She was doomed from the moment she started falling in love with the 'boy'. The woman should be punished for allowing the girl to fall in love with her persona, but not for her suicide.

Ugh god, I remember that. A girl so much as looked at another girl's "man" and they'd flip out.

I just rolled my eyes and informed the dumb bitches that the statistics of them staying together through the rest of the year are really low.

GTA4 is teh pwnz. Girls are emotional at my age, (from my current experience) because of all the random nonsenical drama they get into. They accuse each other of trying to take their "boyfriends". They get into random whining rants, etc.

Most girls are too emotional for their own good. I blame GTA4 or Metal Gear or whatever is popular to blame these days!

Eh, Hormones are a powerful thing, Pabasa.
There was a "couple" in my school of these two kids, both quite nice, and at one point the girl just ended it at one point(not sure how, I'm not in the loop). Kid was extremely sad and talked to no one for I believe like a week? He seemed to go "emo" and seemed suicidal, and he just got over it shortly after. And the kid WAS mentally unstable. He was extremely anorexic and had low self-esteem. He got through it. Logical evidence that girls are far more goddamn emotional! lol (and i mean no ofense Iroj, even though you obviously aren't emotional unstable)

"I can see how love doesn't ring anything because you sound like a total b*tch that really wouldn't know anything about it"

I must be a bitch because I'm smart enough to realize the difference between love, lust and desperation. Mm.

"This isn't a simple trolling, this is someone pretending to be in love with someone, and for a teenage girl? a few weeks time with a boy+love involved, ummm fews is fcking enough. "

Uhm, no its not. She was 13, like she really could experience 'love' in a few weeks time with a boy she'd never met.

If anything she was so desperate and lonely she mistook the attention as love.

Old enough to learn about love, yet not of its pitfalls? And For Goodness' sake dammit if she falls in love head over heels with someone she have never met in real life, there's something wrong with her upbringing in the first place.

As I said, she's doomed from the start.

Girl not emotionally unstable? She killed herself thanks to someone she fell in love with, someone whom she never met, and best of all, someone who doesn't exist at all.

Are you gullible enough to love someone you've never met?

She should be punished, but not have all the blame solely put on her.

I COULD say that, "If you have no remorse for this girl, you don't have a soul," but I can see your points and am not going to take the "moral high-ground" route...

The thing about this case is... I'm sure there have been cases where an ACTUAL boy meets an ACTUAL girl, one turns on the other, the other kills themself, but the point is, this was a grown woman KNOWINGLY and WILLINGLY creating a false account to deliberately cause emotional distress to this girl.

I don't care how you feel about the girl, this woman should be punished!

Uh, no, not if they are mentally stable, its not. I've been internet trolled for years, but I enjoy trolling right back, so it works out.

I digress...

"as I usually could care less about ANY insults."

I must be one too. I get insulted, I shrug it off. Most of the time insults are compensation for people's pathetic lives.

"I said I wasn't defending the woman who made the girl kill herself.

Reading Comprehension. Learn it.

And I have been going on the internet since I was 11. I've never had my feelings hurt by some random stranger whom I've never met's comment. I guess I had too many real friends...or I wasn't stupid."

I apologize, I have a D in the language arts for my lack of attention and comprehension of basic things. And I have no feelings about that sort of thing either, probably because a) I am smart in that department and b) 5 bucks says I'm a sociopath, as I usually could care less about ANY insults.

Hyeo, the girl kills herself over an online stranger who pretended to show feelings for her over a few week period.

If that doesn't scream 'off your rocker' I dunno what does.

Jus' sayin'.

This b*tch went through a whole lot of fcking trouble to pretend as someone who she is not just to harass this girl... this is more than someone saying a single offensive comment online

I'm surprised that there was no law against this. If you harass someone by phone or letter in this way and get them to commit suicide, would you be charged? I would expect that a law that might charge you with that could be manipulated more appropriately to fit this crime.

Thing is, the girl was totally emotionally unstable. She would have killed herself anyway, unless she hooked up with a responsible boy (something too damn rare).

It is unfortunate that this woman became a significant part of the death of the kid, but really, she's not the main cause. She should be punished, but not for murder.
