Wednesday, May 28, 2008 2:26:59 AM I agree with the others, sure, perfecting the droid may be fun, and R2-D2 is awesome, but it seems kind've silly to have them all resemble R2... |

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 1:21:10 AM Baalthazaq - I'm surprised you haven't mentioned the fact that they haven't included an acutal holographic projector. Oh wait. They're not going to be going into space with them because that part was in a film. Silly me. |

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 1:02:07 AM Star wars is not in the future. It's a galaxy far far away, more advanced than us. They're not the same droid. They're similar droids. The technical side of it can be vastly different. One could have a complex AI written over a course of years, one could roll around at random, one could be remote controlled. Plus the minor detail that they're perfecting the art until it gets as good as the one on TV. They're not there yet. I'm fairly sure none of them have built a droid that can fix a Millnium Falcon's Hyperdrive in flight. |

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 8:05:09 PM Hey, I was in San Mateo (San Francisco) this week! And hey, we took American Airlines, and in the Sky Mall catalog they have an R2-D2 toy that you can buy! It can make the sounds and play games like tag! And hey! I got Lego Star Wars for my PSP a few weeks back! Wow!Do I belong with these people? In regards to the video...this is so lame. I agree with IkeRay. All of them are building the same robot. They're all gonna be the same. Now, a C-3PO droid (I can't believe I remember the name) would be cool. Even though there are more advanced robots that do more than he can... Nevermind, I'm reading too much into this. And how come Star Wars says "In a Galaxy long ago..." when it's somehow in the future? Ooh, 737 characters, wow.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 7:23:25 PM what T's me off the most is that they make R2-D2 only....R2 is neat and all, but if everyone is making the same astromech droid...it kinda kills it. |
