Saturday, May 31, 2008 2:14:50 AM although, running nuclear power plants instead of fossil fuel power plants would alleviate the costs, most of it comes down to how we get our supplies and transportation. |

Saturday, May 31, 2008 2:08:59 AM @Baelzar yeah when we invent nuclear powered trucks everything would be cheaper. powerplants don't deliver the "goods". trucks do. trucks run on gas. dumbass. thats why everything else is expensive. the world depends on gas and oil. again, you're a dumbass. |

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 11:28:50 AM yeah, there are easier ways around this... "buy a locking gas cap"yeah, well, a cheap crow bar will fix that problem. I have two tanks, and I filled up with 82 dollars the other day, then two days later, I find the second tank half empty.... pissed me off... So now, I only put about 15 bucks worth of gas in at a time. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 3:58:22 PM RyanF701: I wish I knew you in real life so that way I could actually comment on your intelligence, instead of just deriving it from your post, in which I would think of you as an idiot. Liquidglass: Pardon me, then. From your previous comment I thought that you were opposed to alternate energy ("captain planet/tree hugger BS"). |

Monday, May 26, 2008 12:30:37 PM I fail to see how this is a joke. Someone's going to go to Ace hardware and buy this stuff, and follow this video. People already siphon gas, anyway. It's stupid, and it's theft. If I ever caught someone doing this to my car, I'll drill a hole through his fuc*ing skull. And I'll be damned if I feel guilty about it. |

Um yeah, ours might be the cheapest, but our cost of living is rising rather quickly. So it is hurting us. People are not getting paid more, but the prices or our crap is sky rocketing. Gas, food, everything really. So we do have a right to complain. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 12:15:36 PM hahaha, the star football player at our rival school tried to siphon gas. There was an accident, the gas sparked, and he was out the rest of the season. We won, but then again, our football team's ranked in the top 25 in the country. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 12:05:34 PM a" Dom, let me first applaud you for your astounding wit and use of the word dictionary. You must feel really proud of thinking of that one. Then, let me explain that the comment was directed at those that took the video seriously instead of laughing (and thus, ignoring the fact that it was a joke). "You're not smart, stop. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 10:09:39 AM beternal: i agree, I wasn't arguing that much with you. But supply demand plus some other things. So either means your government charges more taxes or you use more than we do. But yes we're complaining because in comparison to our past prices it's shot up like no other. I'm not sure if it's gone up by as a high a % there but if it is, I'm sure you have people complaining as well. It's all about perspective.
Concept: Forced? We should have done it years ago. I was advocating hydrogen 7 years ago after doing some research on it.
He was regurgitating something he heard/read. Word for word. There's no original thought, it's like an advertisement. Know what you're talking about and wait till you grow up to comment. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 8:49:04 AM 1. Gas doesn't ignite in a drill pump, because the fluid isn't flammable, the VAPOR is. inside the pump there is liquid gasoline, not vapor or oxygen (or any source of spark/heat) 2. This will move a lot more volume than actually syphoning 3. Yea, it works. The only problem would be the cars that do not allow a small hose all the way into the tank (hence the block comments they made). 4. Everyone should know that they did do this, to actual people, but maybe not in the video. This was probably their car. It could be a joke in this situation but the issue is real. 5. You idiots are arguing about whether it will explode. The warning the pump displayed about no flammable liquids was there to avoid liability if the pump did explode. YES THIS WILL WORK, NO THEY WON't EXPLODE; it's just a good proof of concept. Points: these guys 1; commenters 0. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 8:22:16 AM "So first you spew some captain planet/tree hugger BS that you're regurgitating from something you heard in class/read/or saw on tv. Then you're dividing costs from stealing gas vs. buying it. Good job. "First of all, he was trying to explain that at the rate we're consuming gas/oil on this planet, we'll be forced to switch to alternate energy. This fact is TRUE no matter how much you hate captain planet and tree huggers. Secondly, he was explaining to someone that it would be more cost effective (and illegal) to buy the equipment and siphon the gas rather than just buy the gas. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 7:43:02 AM Energy Answer: Build Nuclear Power plants.Cheap energy yields cheap everything. Expensive energy (oil at the moment) makes everything more expensive. Let the Saudis, Venezuelans and Canadians DRINK their oil; we'll be selling cheap electricity to the world. |

Monday, May 26, 2008 7:25:50 AM Yeah so when a static charge builds up from the pumping system and makes a spark thats when the real fireworks happen. |
