Jon Stewart does the Daily Show, also political commentary/comedy and manages to have a decent conversation with his guests playing both sides and successfully lampooning that which is absurd. Providing the "turds of wisdom" that are so sorely lacking in media today. I make no defense of or excuse for Olberman. |

^The O'Reilly Factor is a political/social commentary show. As such, it is inherently bias. Commentary is not commentary unless it contains opinions. Pure factual news is what is presented at the top of the hour. Cable news today is about pundits and commentary. Just look at MSNBC. Keith Olberman is the liberal equivalent of O'Reilly, an ego driven, pompous individual with a love for Democrats as opposed to Republicans. You'd have to be crazy to watch that guy and not say he's just as biased as O'Reilly.So basically you can't do O'Reilly's show without bias...it's impossible. |

And as a side note, I'd like to see half the idiots on this site do Bill O'Reilly's job without royally f*cking up on the first day. Think being in news/TV is easy? Think again, I would know since that's what I'm training for. It's difficult and stressful as hell, and wrong text on the prompter only makes it worse when you're trying to maintain composure. And FYI, most news people write their own copy, they don't just "read off the prompter" as most people assume. |
