Alright, first of all, Guinness would NOT stand for some false stunt and allow it in the record books. He's OFFICIALLY the new record holder. And I also doubt that Oprah would risk her reputation and career to lie on national T.V. If he was going to fake it, Oprah would have to know about it. Besides, they took extra precautions before and during the stunt. They were even monitoring his heart rate, and there were people standing above the tank ready to save him because of how dangerous this stunt is, not to mention the intense training he must have put himself through to prepare for this. Honestly, he may partially be an illusionist, but when you go on national tv announcing that this is the real deal, you can't lie about it. I mean he openly admits to when he does an illision trick. You can't lie about this sort of sh*t. You'll get your ass kicked. |

Alright...normal air is only about 21 percent oxygen. Holding your breath with regular air can have a maximum of 6 minutes. If you can normally hold your breath for 3 minutes with standard atmosphere, you could hold it up to five times longer with pure oxygen, so around 15 minutes. I guess he can normally holds his breath at somewhere around 3 minutes 24 seconds. So I bet he was huffing pure O2. |

it's fake. He's completely dry when he gets out, and when he's getting out no water splashes out of the orb. It looks to me like he just filled the outside edges of the orb with water and set up some sort of wire system to make it look as if he was floating. |
