Sunday, April 20, 2008 9:50:17 AM Angillion, "If the 1969 moon landing was fake, how did the reflector array appear on the moon at that time? You can't see the flag from Earth, but you can "see" the reflector array from Earth by bouncing a laser off it. Somebody put it there, and I don't think it was ceiling cat." It was Ceiling Cat and Ceiling Cat lives there and doesn't appreciate visitors very much. |

Saturday, April 19, 2008 5:43:09 PM Ok if you pause the video in the end the men who walk out are wearing current day clothing and the sparks just came our of nowhere b/c the falling pole hit nothing to make it stop and create sparks. And like Tyrizzel said this type of footage we be completly deleted if they were trying to make a large fraud like this. |

Friday, April 18, 2008 3:33:52 PM I am bored (obviously), so here's a challenge:Anyone who thinks the 1969 moon landing was fake can tell me why and I'll debunk your argument in detail. Except for arguments like "God won't allow it" or "the flying spaghetti monster won't allow it" or "ceiling cat lives there and doesn't like visitors", of course. If you think you have evidence, here's your chance. But before you do, trying answering this question: If the 1969 moon landing was fake, how did the reflector array appear on the moon at that time? You can't see the flag from Earth, but you can "see" the reflector array from Earth by bouncing a laser off it. Somebody put it there, and I don't think it was ceiling cat. |

Friday, April 18, 2008 3:28:37 PM Besides, a colony is a very different thing to a mission. Permanent habitation would be extremely difficult even with a practically unlimited budget. It would also be dangerous. You could expect colonists to die. There's no reason for any government to do it. |

Friday, April 18, 2008 2:25:08 PM audiosncracy: The Apollo missions had a political imperative: The Cold War. Once they were done, USA beats USSR, all well and good, USSR abandon their moonshot, by the later missions US public interest was waning, no need for more moon stuff, save the money, etc etc.I believe NASA can't go to the moon in the current political climate. They don't have the money, and more importantly, the Apollo program considered it OK to risk astronauts lives a bit, which nowadays is not the case. |

Friday, April 18, 2008 1:37:07 PM Isn't the theory 'we faked it to beat Russia'? MightyDuck, If that's the case, sure we have been to the moon many of times before, we just had to make sure we got there first, and faking it would make everyone think the race was off, so there was more time to actually figure out how to do it. Just because the first time was fake doesn't mean we've never been there. |

Friday, April 18, 2008 5:43:03 AM But if the moonlandings were real... how come we haven't put a colony on the moon? I mean... wouldn't that be the first step to getting people to live in space and colonize other planets? |
