I don't see the point in religion. All relgions claim different things, and claim THEY are the true religion and others are lies, who are you meant to believe?I think you should simply live a decent life as a good person, cause no harm to anyone, and be happy on the way. Easy! :) |

Dextrine: Exactly! People just hide behind religion and use it as an excuse. Anything that happens is "God's work" or whatever, and anything terrible they do is left up to be judged by God, as if the here and now is irrelevent. Grow some brains people and live your life properly for what it is NOW, because it could be all you get! And that's not a depressing thought unless the life you lead is depressing and you need to cling to some fairy-tale afterlife with God. Please.

in reality i think ANY religion is pretty pointless.... just live life happily and treat others well. that way if there is a God you'll have pleased him and if there isn't, well you lived a happy life didn't you? |
