I could also add that this was ABC news and they obviously lack in stories to tell on their show.

So many things wrong with this video.

First; It could have been that old hag who took the dog out after his husband died and carried him all the way to the church and made the story up. That would actually make more sense.

Second; The old hag mention "godsend" and she previously said that she "Can't explain it" when asked about the electric dog collar that would have prevented the dog from escaping... so god made the dog suffer painful electric shock just so he can freeze his arse outside searching for the dead body of his master? What a god.

Last; Electric collar are for stupid people who dont have any respect for their pet.

Your in your 30's and you call yourself the maddog and have nothing better to do then post on a website for bored teenagers about your pathetic views.
And the funny thing is I actualy agree with you and then some. Religion is ridiculous. All I was saying is that this is probably not the best place to discuss such things.
You obviously didn't understand what I was trying to say, felt threatened and lashed out.
Gee, that sounds like something a really thick as sh*t person would do.
Hmmm?

The god's work thing is bullpoo. It was the dog who was smart and brave enough to cross roads and miles to go and find his owner.

Anyway, this was so Aww.

Pretty cool but I'd have been more impressed if the dog saved the dude from cancer. I also hate it when they say someone 'lost the battle' with cancer. It makes me think of a tennis game when Cancer scores the last point and the guy gets pissed and throws a racket onto the court and cusses out the ref lol
On a side note did anyone else notice what the church sign said? "He is Risen... Indeed" It makes me think of Sherlock Holmes
*looks at the grave of Christ*
Watson: He is risen!
Sherlock: hmm... Indeed.

I worked as a nurse in a nursing home that had a resident cat that liked no one. He wouldn't let you touch or pet him and was pretty much antisocial. I did my rotation on the hospice hall for awhile and saw some pretty strange things. This cat would hop on the bed with some people and stay with them. We came to find out it was before they died. He would start hanging out a few days before it happened and then the person would die and he would leave. It was very cool, very spooky and also very sad. Kinda like a prediction of the future.

Not at all. If I say "I belive in this" I found it on factual information, not some book that requires faith in the supernatural. I really do belive everyone is born equal and it is only our actions that set us apart. I treat people how they treat me and I find that the worst offenders in human rights (yes I am a humanitarian) are religious zealots. I'm not picking on christians but nearly all religions. Like I said, when we dont have people like the Pope saying condoms are wrong or the Ayatollah issuing a Fatwah because of a differing of opinion then I'll listen. Till then its people being asses without anything of merit worth listening too!

I'm not equating communism with atheism. I'm equating "shut up if I don't like what you say" with dictatorship-style governments in general.

No, I can't back up my beliefs, at least not with evidence you'd consider valid, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't believe them nor does it mean I can't talk about it, which is the actual subject of discussion. A person's actual beliefs is irrelevant to whether he has the freedom to believe them and to declare such beliefs. If I want to believe in pink flying elephants, then I'm entitled to believe that and also talk about it. I'm even entitled to be president as long as I'm constitutionally qualified and freely elected. What I shouldn't do, however, is attack people when they differ from my beliefs, no matter what the beliefs are, and that's the real point of discussion.

Anyways, I'm done participating in this thread. There's no point if you're just purposefully misconstruing my words and throwing red herrings.

What? I shouldn't say something because it'll piss someone else of? Th_Maddog, you should move to communist China, where they actually believe that as law.

sirpsycosexy: Really..I'm dyslexic and I can still see your spelling mistakes, so dont go claiming "I cant string a sentance together".! Come back and talk in 20 years time AFTER you know what your talking about. try reading the Bible and the Koran and see what it says about us "Atheists". Once you've done that, tour the world and see what happens in some places to people who dont share the same religion as the relative population. Till then STFU kid!

"Sigh". ttsec, I dont hate anyone for beliving in something I dont. Everyone is diffrent and I wouldnt have it any other way. Belive whatever you want...but anyone with half a brain knows that a vast majority of worldwide politics is ruled by religious belief...and from your own comments you know zip about european history!

Belive what you want..but unless you can back up your claims and not piss anyone else who thinks diffrently off keep it to yourself!

^ So, you clearly see it's wrong when fundamentalists do their crazy business, yet you don't see how you're wrong for attacking people when they declare their beliefs? Well, at least you believe the logic in my argument, even if you refuse to apply it to yourself. Hypocrisy at least shows you know what's right even though you're only using right as a veil for your wrong.

I like my high horse very much, so stop trying to "dictate" against my pro-horse lifestyle.

I can talk about my God as much as I want, but I don't go hating on you for not believing it. Same way, you shouldn't go hating on people for believing in a God, imaginary or not. Trying to suppress someone's freedom to talk about their beliefs is intolerance.
