Thursday, April 03, 2008 3:55:35 PM So, is the lowercase "i" replacing the lowercase "e" in front of electronic item names to make them sound "futuristic" now?I think they replace 'e' (electronic) with 'i' to make the product seem more personal. Like an iPod. You personalize it with the songs and stuff you like in it. |

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 6:15:36 PM To be honest, as innovative as it is, I think that it would be pointless to actually have disabled people use this. The whole point of these kinds of things is to make disabled people mobile, and why use this if wheelchairs are already a very good choice? I mean, unless it actually enabled disabled people to use their legs somehow, or could help them up stairs, there's no real advantage against wheelchairs. On a side note, though, the actual walker concept looks cool. It doesn't seem long before we've got Metal Gear Rexes and ATATs running (walking?) all over the place. |

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 4:22:10 PM Granted, Bipedal machines in ANY form are hard to make (Center of gravity, balance issues), Bipedal machines that can hold the weight of a shifting person and not topple... That's technology. It has to constantly maintain a center of gravity, and for a machine, that's hard... If ANYONE mentions a gyroscope, I will personally hang, draw and quarter you in the town square. =_= x. |

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 2:43:04 PM Wouldn't an electric wheelchair be faster and eaiser to get around with. That thing looks very tall and slow. Also, It really didn't look capable of navigating stairs or any other rough terain for that matter, so it doesn't even give any advantages over a wheelchair. |

Wednesday, April 02, 2008 12:10:08 PM There is already a thing called a wheelchair. And if you are gonna make a fudgein 'MECH' for the handicapped, make it look less GAY and look less like a damn egg with feet. |
