Monday, March 31, 2008 7:14:26 PM My cat has one of those microchips..whenever they find an animal or one goes into a shelter they check for the chip..it's very useful..but it seems like Charlie was living in the wild for 7 years or something.. |

Monday, March 31, 2008 9:10:20 AM I clicked this thinking a dog had been resurrected by a microchip 7 years after it's first death. Too much sci-fi...._. -Disappointed- x. |

Monday, March 31, 2008 9:05:01 AM Dogs are OK, but you ain't putting these anywhere near us humans - adults nor kids. With microchips in us, we would be like mere prisoners on this planet. |

Sunday, March 30, 2008 8:03:18 PM It took 7 years for the dog to be reunited with it's owners because it took 7 years for someone to scan it. This most often happens when some good person finds a dog and decides to make zero effort in finding the dogs owners. I hope that everyone who sees this not only has their pet microchipped but also registers the chip, updates it when necessary and has any animal they find scanned for a chip. Those who say it is cruel - yes it is a little painful, I have placed the chips in both dogs and cats, awake and under anesthesia. If you are worried about the pain have it done while the animal is under anesthesia for something else (routine dental, spay or neuter, or any other surgery your pet may need). The benefit of these chips is priceless and they are getting very affordable. *steps off soapbox* |

Sunday, March 30, 2008 3:23:34 PM I've always wondered if dogs could remember their old owners. I always thought dogs kind of had a short memory span...and after a while would just get so used to whoever they're with that it would be like their old family never existed. This is pretty cool. |

Sunday, March 30, 2008 2:08:30 PM I think someone took in Charlie, as a pet, all those seven years... What I cannot understand, is why those people decided to return him.... And after seven years? I don't get it. |

Sunday, March 30, 2008 1:28:03 PM If you get a pet from the shelter here they are automatically chipped. I want to get my ferrets done just in case. |

Sunday, March 30, 2008 12:49:37 PM After seeing this video, I'm considering getting one of those things implanted in my girlfriend. (OMG, SHOCK LAUGHS!) Nah, just kidding, I don't even have one. |
