Guitar Hero? Psh, what a waste of time. I've been in real life punk/metal bands (not currently in one, since I have too much other crap occupying my life:( ) and let me tell you, The feeling you get from real guitar is INFINITELY better than anything a stupid game could ever offer. Guitar Hero is literally one of the worst games ever created. It mocks real rockers. |

Damn people, its a frickin' video game. Its something most players use for entertainment. Itsallfake and Loofahboy beat me to it with the Street fighter analogy. And to Dainty: I would hope that you wouldn't choose one guy over another just because he plays a real guitar :P |

I dont think anyone on this site has room to talk about wasting life...seriously. I do agree with a few people on here who are sticking up for guitar hero. I, for one, love rythym games. Ive played ddr for a few years, and guitar hero for a little while (never felt like paying for it so I just play here and there). But seriously it's a rythym game thats all it is and all it ever will be. |

Guitar Hero is so dumb. I'm sorry, but playing this stupid game doesn't mean you can 'play' a real guitar.On the other hand, maybe it's better that kids get into something stupid like this than drugs. |

Guitar Hero is not that bad, but you just have to take it for what it is, a video game.I agree with everything itsallfake had to say, really. I've only played guitar for two years, and I can honestly say that I don't think I'll ever feel like I'm as good as I COULD be. But with GH, you can just sit around with friends and hit a few buttons and have fun (for people who are willing to deal with the fact that it's JUST A GAME). The only thing actual guitar and GH have in common is THE GUITAR SHAPE. |
