I concur with Gnarkill07 and other that say its not a missile. However it is not a sabot round, no sabot is discarded at launch, it is most likely some sort of HE (high explosive) round. |

For those who didn't know, the video camera purportedly had a very wide angle, then it's just a matter of zooming in and out. |

What the hell! That was STUPID! I don't watch tank shells fly in slow motion just to see them fly. I want to see them hit something, or just explode. What I saw was essentially a condom. You go through all the motions with no payoff. |

It seems my definition of what is a missle was incorrect. I thought a missle is a rocket that is guided, what I saw ten seconds ago was a bullet. Sure it's probably has inertial guidedance, but it isn't under constant thrust. It gets one brief moment of acceleration and it travels untill it hits something or until the friction in the air steals away the velocity it needs to fly. The it becomes a rock, a paper weight lying on the floor until some dumb kid thinks kicks it thinking it is just expended ordinance....wait, where the hell did that come from. |
