Monday, March 17, 2008 4:36:59 PM Buckethead wanks. hard. period. That video was so outrageously over-the-top that it really wasn't as disturbing as I thought it was going to be. In fact I would have been much more disturbed by a picture of a half-naked, fat, sweaty, guy holding a que card that read: "Something really, really disturbing."Buckethead. I can think of vetter names than that.... but I-A-B prolly won't let me post them, so lets go with uh, suckethead. BTW I hate him, but it counts as music. Saying something is or is not music is too subjective. |

Monday, March 17, 2008 3:42:05 PM ... i think Tool's videos are more disturbing, this is just graphic... Tool has like psychological twists and stuff in their songs... |

Monday, March 17, 2008 3:01:44 PM all you bunch of ugly humps who diss buckethead should try to play one thing off of his video lesson and post yourself doing it flawlessly. hes one of the most innovative musicians in the worlds existance. i think this is just his depiction of hell. well thats my 2 cents worth, you may now ignorantly strike out at my opinion whenever you please |

Monday, March 17, 2008 1:51:56 PM and, as legend goes, the bucket and mask aren't "gimmicks" per say... he's a very talented musician but supposedly when he was first starting out he was very shy and the mask and stuff kinda helped with the stage fright actually yeah maybe it is just a gimmick ha hell if i know, or care, cause he is an AMAZING musician, and i don't even like metal |

Monday, March 17, 2008 12:51:11 PM in all seriousnous, i love buckethead and all that comes from his bucket. the song i believe is supposed to be a musical description of hell, or ones internal torment. most of his songs are musical visualizations, or soundscapes (yes i stole the term from a death cube k album). the video basically reveals what buckethead saw when he wrote the song. this one resembles one of those religious paintings you see at churches, and art museums, not sure what they're called (jewish). |

Monday, March 17, 2008 12:40:31 PM Oh, and by laymen, I mean someone that is new to metal / death (I don't know if that's what fans consider it, but thats what the video gave the impression of) metal. |

Monday, March 17, 2008 12:33:51 PM Was the video made by buckethead, or is it a fan creation? I mean, I didn't like the music, but I can respect the talent that it takes to make it. The video, on the other hand, was o.k. at best. It just leaves me with one thought; why the hell were so many people posting on how horrible Modest Mouse is and leaving Buckethead alone? Looking at it from a laymen's point of view, at least Modest Mouse has a vocal track (Yes, I personally know that not all songs need vocal tracks to kick ass, and I have several instrumentals that I like and listen to in regular rotation). |
