Wednesday, March 12, 2008 6:50:28 PM ...people both scare and surprise me! JC is a legend who makes entertaining shows, he likes( or lets be honest, more dislikes) CARS not places or people. Lighten up for fricks sake...its a TV show! No one takes Jeremy Kyle (which is just as contrived but less entertaining) this seriously...(what?! he expressed an opinion?! KILL HIM!) |

Monday, March 10, 2008 11:15:24 AM It helps if the car is in first gear when you start. It really does. Honestly I take off faster from the line in a Topaz. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 10:43:08 AM angilion I watched that YouTube video on my iTouch with headphones that have really good bass. OMFG I just had an orgasm! Great car, the Bugatti. Better overall than that American SSC aero thingy that goes faster in a line, because it looks sounds and corners better. Veyron ftw! |

Monday, March 10, 2008 10:29:34 AM Actually as I'm stressed from school and some of these comments are pissing me off, I'm gonna go ahead and point out that most of you need to learn a lot more about cars before commenting on drivers and defending the lowly mustang which clearly understeers like a pig and is just a cheaply made marketing ploy using '60s nostalgia to appeal to Americans. Watch a decent car show like TopGear and form a decent opinion before saying stupid things. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 10:20:17 AM silverado 06 (page 2) you know jack-shhite about cars. Nissan have been making a car for years that trounces most American cornerphobes: GT-R. Shove that up your McStraw and swallow it.Also, only tossers in England drive Mercs, BMWs and Audis, which, FYI, are all German, and feel smug about it. American cars are for cruising and straight line drags and you know it. That's why they suck ass at corners, unlike our cars which, now that Rover are gone, are all sports cars, seeing as Vauxhall is now part of GM and Jaguar are owned by goodness knows who. So take your motoring ignorance somewhere a million miles from here and watch mor TG or something to educate yourself. Now. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 10:07:16 AM They should have gottena better driver. Also, why a rounded track? Why not a straight track so that he doesnt have to worry about turning and slowing down while turning. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 9:30:18 AM with the size of the track already small and located in bfe, the outcome was already known. The mustang v6(should have tried a v8)is an average car for an average price used for average driving. It's not a high performance vehicle. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 8:33:57 AM angilion, yea ive seen how he later drives the modern modified mustangs (roush and shelby gt) but in my opinion, those cars look nice but still because of the newer cars putting on so many lbs, they cant compare to something like thismodified new edge cobra want a mustang that turns on a dime? fox box mustang im getting a foxbody mustang soon too. ttsec, all cars are moving coffins if you pick at the details good enough. But to each their own. |

Clarkson, although a bit of a bigot, is funny and a healthy voice in a condemnatory world.

Monday, March 10, 2008 7:28:46 AM You've got to put the car in context, most parts of America (I imagine) have straight roads, so it’s not that important to build a car that goes round corners all that well. You’ve got to look at the market it’s pitched against – Yes a European car would go round the bends quicker – but that’s cause they’re designed with that in mind – in a straight line the Mustang is a good muscle car for little money. I drove one while on holiday in Vegas and I thought it was pretty cool. It’s not as quick as a 911, but that’s not what it’s all about. Besides, the video was just for a bit of fun, don’t take it too seriously! |

Monday, March 10, 2008 7:19:26 AM shepherd; generalizations like that just make you look ignorant. Not all Americans are the gun-toting, war-supporting jack-offs that you're trying to make us out to be. And to everyone that got offended over what some guy on a television show had to say about a crappy car, get over it. Were you part of the design team or construction? Doubt it, so don't get your panties in a twist, he's insulting the car, not you. Besides, we should all know by now that American-made cars are rated for poo. They don't run as well, and they break more often. Me? I'm a Toyota girl, and I love Top Gear. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 7:05:25 AM 1. If the course didn't already exist, they created it to make the horse win, for entertainment value. 2. They're performing a handling test on an American muscle car, seems unfair really, since American muscle cars are designed to drive fast in a straight line, but this is entertainment. 3. Sure Jeremy might not be the world's greatest driver, but it is really difficult to drive a fast, unstable car through a small track. You can't just gun it, otherwise you'd end up in the dirt in of the turns. The horse is going to do what it takes to stay on its feet during a turn, and Jeremy was doing the same for the car. This is entertainment. Why people decide to come here and say "American/European cars are better because [insert reason here]" is confusing really. They're all designed by different companies for different customers and different environments. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 5:09:37 AM That horse was my cousin, Edward. He uses Bush's Baked Beans for Nitrous. One of these days the Canadian Mounted Police are going to catch up with him, but he just won't listen. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 4:55:33 AM Bahaha! 1-horse power wins. Although I doubt these results are accurate... theres no way a horse would have made it around that track in 34 seconds. |

Monday, March 10, 2008 12:46:56 AM To the Americans on IMB----"lie down on my couch and I'll massage your egos, you really are good at somethings, honest." (except building cars, keeping yourselves to yourselves, and being quiet when it is essential not to speak!!)BTW, how did your oil get under their sand????? |
