Friday, March 07, 2008 5:33:23 PM Most of you are utterly stupid, your fingertips DO NOT GROW BACK IF YOU COMPLETELY REMOVE THE SKIN.When scar tissue forms, it only closes gaps using fibrins that go over wounds. You dont literally grow back the exact fingertip. Most likely just large scars covering the fingers. Could be fixed by just wearing gloves. =)

Thursday, March 06, 2008 8:12:06 AM viruzzps, what do you think happens when you lose skin then? An 8 year old could tell you you're always replacing your skin. If your theory was correct, everyone would lose their figerprints at around 10. If you removed all your skin, it would leave scars, which are skin I believe, so something clearly grows back, retard. |

Thursday, March 06, 2008 4:51:02 AM This guy is a complete spoon, not only did he choose a stupid to way to get rid of his fingerprints, he came up with an even worse reason for it. I once heard that if you leave your hands in pinapple juice for about 48 hours, it erodes away your prints but I dought it's true. |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 10:44:27 PM Whats this crap about fingerprints growing back? they are formed before you are born. they don't just grow back. nothing does. or there wouldn't be anything called scars |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 8:50:44 PM Windrider15 > actually your hands have the most sensitivity in your body, aside from your tongue, lips and possibly jhonson. It wouldnt hurt as much because the tips themselves have slightly thicker skin, but not by that much. |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 6:13:33 PM Also, fingerprint removal is easy and readily available to anyone with a frying pan and high pain tolerance(replaceable with best damn painkillers ever). And you could always place the entire hand on the pan and claim that you "accidentally burned yourself". |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 12:47:31 PM To all those who say fingerprints grow back: they only grow back when just the top few layers of skin are removed. Of course, fingerprints are then replaced by scar tissue as someone pointed out earlier, which is also identifiable. The best way to do it would be to use pineapples. They have an enzyme in them that destroys fingerprints (thank you QI). Much less painful. Anyway, fingerprints are not the only ways of identifying people (the whole handprint is in fact), so getting rid of them is like putting a big "I'm a criminal" sign on your back. |
