Saturday, March 08, 2008 1:23:13 PM from my recent knee injuries and from that video, i think it's obvious in one part where he's rolling down the hill that he tore every ligament in his knee. that wouldn't instigate amputation though, he has to have injured something that can't be fixed. |

Wednesday, March 05, 2008 5:15:28 PM Actually he can still ski even after an amputation. It's called the monoski. I was watching the Winter XGames and mono ski was an event. All the competitors were either amputees or paralyzed. You can watch a video of it here YouTube XGames MonoSki So while this guy lost his leg he may still be able to do what he loves in a slightly modified fashion. |

Tuesday, March 04, 2008 7:02:47 PM My God, his leg was as flimsy as string cheese, the way that bent. That is one heck of a crash! I hope he is OK after this. |

Tuesday, March 04, 2008 12:50:43 PM does anyone know what NSFW means? It does not mean that something is vulgar or bloody or gross. It means Not Safe For Work and it is meant to be posted on things because now a lot of places monitor what their employees do on the internet. I think that being on a site called i am bored would be NSFW. |

Tuesday, March 04, 2008 11:54:33 AM I went skiing a couple of weeks ago and every time I fell my skii didn't come off. My bindings were probably to tight. I'm so luck I didn't wipeout really bad like him. Ouch!! |

Tuesday, March 04, 2008 11:43:01 AM just read in an article that he actually had to have it amputated. he broke his tibia and fibula (those are the two big bones in the leg i think) and they had to amputate it because he did not have enough blood flow.http://www.dailymail.com/Sports/20080304... |
