Fojos: Many women already do support a famliy without a flakey father. Maybe men should start paying women equally. Maybe men should stop raping women- that would get rid of this problem almost completely. Many women are the breadwinners of the family. Don't be so jealous. ;) |

PandaLoMein, we are in recession because of economic growth, it always happens. After a war you go up quickly and then recession. At the end, it does benefit the economy overall. And the risk of a Hussein attacking another major building will affect our economy even worse, rather not take that risk. We dont have the worst national debt as most people say (im not saying you said it) Japan has nearly twice our national debt. You measure debt by Public Debt which is National Debt over GDP and our is at 70-80% which isnt good but not terrible as everyone wants to believe. Most European nations are at 60%. And if the babies can be sent to an adoption agency, there is no need for abortion. |

What a touchy subject.Here's what I got to say about it I'm Pro Choice remember pro-lifers that doesn't mean I'm pro death. An abortion should only be used before the baby's brain is developed. Otherwise you would be killing a human. But a fetus without a brain is just a bunch of cells. I would be glad to say if I ever got a disease that destroyed my brain (like some people get) but my body was still alive. Pull the Damn plug, I'm not a human anymore I'm just sitting meat with no mind. |

abortion is murder no matter how you look at it. weather you kill a pre-born baby, a post-born baby, a toddler, a pre-teen, a teenager, a young adult, a middle-aged adult, or a senior citizen, it's all murder in the same degree.

Primetimekin.You're obviously not reading a lot of newspapers. We might all ready in a RECESSION, we're even more bogged down by our tremendous national debt. Even if there has been any positive impact to the economy due to this quagmire, they're not equal to the loss of life. Geez. . .how can someone be Pro-life and Pro-war at the same time, on the same post, no less. I guess the reasoning is that it's ok to kill people, as long as we're making money. Disgusting. Also, you think China and other developing country has any qualms about selling fetal tissue? No. The black market is already here, as is the shady use of stem cells without proper tests and for questionable purposes. It's called, "Stem Cell Tourism." If you have the desire and the tens of thousands of dollars, you can come to Hangzhou and have this therapy. It's basically just a bunch of injections into where ever you're having problems. People say it works, though. I'm skeptical, but that's my nature. |

From a Biological stand point, an embryo is a life. Therefore abortion is murder (regardless of the morality of it.) If you kill someone who is a rapist will you be tried and go to jail, yes, is it morally right, maybe.And I am trying to remember my argument. Ok.... here it goes.
There is a surplus of embryo's that are thrown away in sperm banks. The argument is that you should get some of those embryos and use it for stem cell research. The problem is that you can create a black market situation where people can sell embryo's. All the while there are several alternatives such as the umbilical cord which is as effective. (Im missing some points but thats basically it. |

Okay Pandalomein, you obviously failed economics (I havent taken it yet but was into it since 4th grade). War is good for the economy. It means we have to build materials, hire people, build more factories, hire people etc. Why do you think the unemployment rate stayed relatively low after Katrina? Not to mention all the movies that have been made after Iraq.And, putting a child up for adoption is an option. Even if it doesnt get adopted it gets a chance. That would be something that 14 year old girls can do instead of getting an abortion. Lucid_Wizard she was screaming at someone with a Bible I doubt it was a prolife rally. He seemed to be in the way. For Rape victims, I still think adoption would be better but im not sold
For Birth Defects, I am not sure. Depends on severity
For Life/Death, absolutely
And I would rather they use coat hangers and let them do it themselves.
