She didn't disassemble it safely, she didn't have her hand over the end of the tmh or even the tmh housing, so if she had pulled the rear pin out too far by accident (which is made more likely as she was trying to work fast), the spring could have shot out and hit somebody, possibly causing somebody to lose an eye....*bows* |

I'm pretty sure this is on pare with the Familly America hates.You just don't teach kids this cr@p. Let them form their own likes and dislikes before filling them up with too much of your own ideals and they don't know anything else. See? This is exactly how Country music Gets Passed down from generation to generation.

I like how most of the American/Canadian posters are either "cool", "wow" or a bit dubious about such a young girl field stripping such a gun, but not the concept of owning such a gun in the first place.In contrast, being a Brit I'm deeply disturbed by it - not just her age, but the fact her dad is egging her on as well as the fact that there's a gun (and not just a piddly lil' .22 either) in the house. With our gun laws, to even possess any non licensed gun (ammo or no ammo) is a minimum 5 year jail term and that includes shotguns for hunting grouse and deer and the like. I've never even seen such a gun in the UK that wasn't in a film or on the TV. Mind you, I like our gun laws in the UK. Nobody really needs a gun, apart from violent criminals. America's had, what, 4 school shooting incidents in the past 10 days, our last one was the Dunblane massacre in 1996... Are any other Europeans just a little bit disturbed by this video??? |

I'm pretty much all for gun control and all, but I don't see a problem with this at all. She's learning to respect guns, so that later on in life she'll know how to react around them. They're not as "scary" as they were when she was younger.Granted, posting the video online so that less responsible kids with even less responsible parents who don't lock the guns up can watch and wish to replicate her actions...might be a tad irresponsible. |
