If it hasnt been said, this is why it gives before your hand does, when he strikes the brick, his hand is loose, and not tensed up, where as the brick is. the shock gets absorbed in your hand, whereas the brick cant absorb impact and starts to crack and break, which it does. If he tensed his hand on impact instead of kept it loose, his hand would have shattered. |
