I was in the building next door leaving class when it happened. There was a student lying on the floor bleeding and a bunch of us crowded around applying first aid. This is the scariest thing I've ever seen. You see sad stories and like this all the time on the news, but to have it happening a few hundred feet from you scares you more than you can imagine.Also, it's been confirmed four are dead from the shooting, and the shooter was not a student. |

This is absolutely terrifying. I graduated from this school a little over a year ago. I still have friends who go there and I know a lot of the professors. And there is no clear set motive that is known. However, last December graffiti was found in a bathroom stall in of the residence halls that spoke of this happening. |

150-200 ppl is a huge ass geography class....ges but anyway, thats scary, i hate when school shootings happen even if they're far away, it still scares me.. |

i don't know, but it seems unlikely that a guy who is willing to do something as screwed up as that would have a girlfriend to morn over in the first place, probably wasnt very good with girls, but seeing that it was on valentines day, hes probably looking for recognition.....I blame rap music and 50 cent for wanting to call his album "the valentine's day massacre" at first rather than just "the massacre" =) |

BBC headline on the website: "5 dead in US College Shooting", then "gunman killed 4 people before turning gun on himself", then later "hospital reported no fatalities on their website". So did people die or what? |

That would be my assumption, He was either "lonely" or got left by his girl, Or something like that, And decided it was the university's fault. |
