Monday, February 11, 2008 11:37:24 AM ok little one's this is how it was before computers that could fit in your room, the internet and cable t.v. yea it was a joke back then but we did not spend all of our time inside ( there was nothing to do, watch b/w t.v. on 3-4 channels or play pong )so we did stuff outside in " THE REAL WORLD " i know scary but true. stupid stuff like "mr microphone" and "disco clubs" realy advanced the electronic world to what it is today. now i am going to microwave some popcorn and watch a movie off a small disk on a flat screen with millions of colors, while talking on my cell-phone and e-mailing |

Monday, February 11, 2008 6:45:30 AM Apparently before I was born, one of the people that lived across the street from my parents had one. My parents always called HIM "Mr. Microphone" because of it....maybe he didn't use the real "Mr. Microphone" but he used some annoying poo like it. |

Monday, February 11, 2008 6:23:02 AM StoogegirlSi: You mean a Teddy Ruxpin. No one I knew had a Mr. Microphone. It was considered stupid crap back then as well, and we made fun of this same commercial. I did, however, go to Radio Shack and buy a small FM transmitter. I started a radio station at my house, but it only had a range of a couple hundred feet. I also used it for eavesdropping as part of my super secret spy gear. The late 70's and the 80's ruled. Many of the things you love were invented then. They're just smaller and improved now. |

Monday, February 11, 2008 5:57:02 AM it looked very early 80s if not 70s. And just because this sort of s**te was available doesn't mean we all got on like the twats in the clip. |

Monday, February 11, 2008 4:14:48 AM My god, I think I had one when I was little. I mean, really little. I mean, like, when I was two. That was also the time I had that creepy talking teddy bear (you know what I mean, his mouth moved to the tape.) |

Monday, February 11, 2008 3:28:36 AM I have a good use for that if it has high enough range. Find someone using a radio and get into range and makes sex noises into the mike. Then they can hear sex noises. Even better if it is a little kid and their mother is in the room. |

Monday, February 11, 2008 3:21:47 AM Hey don't knock being a kid in the 80s! Aside from crap like this and having Reagan for president it was better than having Bush. At least Reagan could talk, and there was still decent music being made back then. Music is crap now. |
