Eh, I just watched the first 20 seconds... ...The best part about it was the music...

Enimor, don't be a retard. You're acting like a seriously misinformed idiot who's highly intolerant of anyone with a different lifestyle, no matter how small the difference.

Working for NASA has nothing to do with it. You're still a furry and a freak and you should be shunned from civilized society for the glorified fetish you call a lifestyle.

"Dragonlord, I would ask, how many of your friends know you like to dress up as an animal in your spare time?"

In fairness, I don't fursuit. Don't plan on it either... just not my thing. However, most of my friends do know that I'm a furry.

WDanC"If I were a furry, I'd be a lame horse so someone could take me out back and shoot me."

Best thing I've read in awhile.

Just to put in my two cents regarding the whole "furry debate": I like to consider myself a pretty open-minded person, and I know that not all furries are into bestiality, however, I still don't think that expressing ones-self as an animal by wearing a fursuit (or by drawing pictures and giving your drawings personalities) is exactly healthy. It makes me think there must be some reason as to why you turned to that sort of lifestyle. It seems like a coping mechanism.

I don't hate furries, but I admit to thinking that you're weird. To be honest, if you are a furry and you announce it you should expect people to look at you funny and to make less-than-kind comments... especially if you do so online.

Jesus.
Why does everybody hate furries?
There's nothing, wrong with liking or wanting to look like an animal.
Everybody thinks just because they're furries, they want to f--- their dog or cat or Shamu.
That's zoophilia, not furry.
Only a very small amount of furries like zoophilia.

@ Dragonlord

Just because you've found some modicum of success in your life doesn't make being your fur fetish any more socially acceptable. J Edgar Hoover founded the FBI and he was a cross dresser and closet homosexual (during a much less tolerant era).

I don't have anything against it, I'm just curious.

Actually, Brodsta, you'd have better luck buying a custom from one of the many people who make them. For extraordinary amounts of money. :/ Good luck with that.

"Furries can't even face themseleves in real life. I'm guessing they would rather never meet who is behind the suit and live out their social life as a fantasy."

To put it in perspective for ya, here are some fun facts!
- I'm a furry
- I'm a 21-year old heterosexual male.
- I'm in my second year of working for NASA as a co-op.
- I've gotten offers to return to NASA once I am out of college.
- At college, I am in the honors section.
- I am also one of the leaders in a major group there.
- I've already written most of my doctoral thesis on a yet-unstudied field of fractal mathematics (though I have to have it revised, and I won't actually be working towards my PhD for another two years).
- Not only have I gained respect in many circles, but I also have many friends that I hang out with, just like any other college kid.

Not only do I face myself in real life, but when I do, I'm probably a lot happier about where I stand than you are about your

I believe people will hate whatever they feel compelled to hate, no matter how ignorant that hatred is. So as much as all of this hate upsets me, I just want to ask why this hatred exists. Do people have to use a shotgun to get furries off their lawns? Are they a physical threat? Are they actively persecuting people who are different from themselves?

Furries can't even face themseleves in real life. I'm guessing they would rather never meet who is behind the suit and live out their social life as a fantasy. It's really unhealthy, even trekkies actually look like people.

Um, there are about a hundred times more participants than spectators, which leads me to believe that this is more of an ego boost than a legitimate parade. :/
