Wednesday, April 09, 2008 11:41:08 PM I like Legos, but I thought it would be something a bit more impressive. ...If I bought the Lego set, I could make a similar video... |

Monday, February 11, 2008 8:22:06 PM Maybe I don't see the big deal here. I used to do these kinds of things (and I'm sure I'm not alone). Hell, for nearly 13 years, all I got for Christmas and my birthdays was LEGO sets. |

Sunday, February 10, 2008 7:18:01 PM I love Star Wars, and I love Legos, but damn. $300 for a toy you'll put together, then sit on a shelf. BTW, John Williams has said numerous times in interviews that Holst is one of his influences. Naturally, you'll incorporate some of your influence into your own work. He just happens to have used a lot. :)

Sunday, February 10, 2008 8:44:56 AM i have to agree with dangerryan on most parts...john williams is different than gustav holst in the sole reason that john williams uses too much trumpet. some of his lesser known stuff STILL uses too much trumpet. the only people who like john williams stuff that i know are A) star wars geeks, or B) jazz players (mainly trumpets and trombone players). |

Sunday, February 10, 2008 12:26:35 AM went to the lego site to look at the price, its $499, then it had a link to other products, including: http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=10143its the death star II, you know, the half completed one that got blown up in episode 6, but what i couldnt find was death star I...why would i want part of a thing....i can make the death star II out of the death star I, but i cant make the first death star if you dotn give me all the pieces... also, i liked the lego sets where you could make 3 or 4 different things with the lego's, whats the point of a lego set if once you put it together it just becomes a normal toy, why pay extra to put together the toy the manufacturer was too lazy to do himself? now the ones that could be made into 3 or 4 different things allowed some imagination.. sorry for the rambling, A.D.D. is a bitch.

Saturday, February 09, 2008 11:53:28 PM Im going to buy a bigassed lego set in the next week and do this. I grew up playing with legos. There was nothing better in the world than recreating the scene in your favorite cartoon show episode or something.Bionicles FTW! Tho I will say the video could have been a LOT shorter. BTW just about every damn combat vehicle in Star Wars, though fun to look at, is realistically unsound. Armored Troop Transports with legs? Phhtt... |

Saturday, February 09, 2008 8:18:52 PM I must have that...and the AT-AT. I love those things. I'm working on the Imperial Troop Transport (or whatever the big brown thing that carries all the robots is. I can't remember). Yes, I love Lego Star Wars, but I'm not a major Star Wars geek who freaks about anyting Star Wars. |
