Tuesday, January 29, 2008 9:19:20 PM Anyone notice, they didn't show you how he stuck his hands out while teller was carrying the box? Course, it was just Teller's hand, but I didn't seem them show that. |

Tuesday, January 29, 2008 10:52:56 AM WOW, this has changed my life.also has anyone seen that programme afew years back in which a guy says hes going to make a tall building disappear, and holds up a screen covering them, and you can hear the explosions and see the smoke, but *omg*, when he takes the screen down the buildings are gone.later in the interview he said it was really hard, because all the camera crew are peering over their stuff at thisexploding building and going "ooh" but he had to look straight ahead, with a straight face. anyone seen it? |

Tuesday, January 29, 2008 9:47:54 AM Brilliant & stylish. P&T RULE!However, what bugs me are the stupid comments saying 'oh, it was sooo obvious!'. You're missing the point. Considering that they were taking the mickey out of Vegas acts, and were going to reveal how it was done anyway, the performance was more about the choreography tham actually fooling people. - The trick is the easy part. the presentation, however, is where they really stand out! Besides, in my experience, a magic trick is always 'easy', ONLY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW IT'S DONE! I used to do close-up tricks for tips at a restaurant, including spoon bending Uri Geller style. If the tip was really good, I'd reveal the secret to them. (Cos Geller is a fraud & should be debunked) - The amount of people sying 'Wow! Is that all it is?', was amazing! Having said all that, I prefer to be the one watching magic & enjoying the illusion rather than going 'I know how they did that', cos frankly, it smacks of arrogance. |

Tuesday, January 29, 2008 9:18:07 AM oh, someone addressed that. well this trick used to also be done with mechanical "limbs" to match the apprentice, while the apprentice, usually a thin limber woman, contorts to fit in only one section of the casket |
