Wednesday, January 30, 2008 7:44:50 AM Omg he was a good actor but there is two things you people need to realize. A person dies ever couple of seconds and you dont feel sorry for their family's. So you dont know them big deal? people die, if they didnt this world would be like Japan. And second Heath Ledger didnt commit suicide he was so pumped for batman he couldnt sleep and he took to many pills because they werent working and it killed him Let Him Rest Leave It Be. No Need To Mourn Cant You See? People Die Its How Life Happens. And Every Day After Youre Life Saddens. You Have To Move On, Youre Life Is at Its Best, So Let This Man Have His Eternal Rest. Wednesday, January 23, 2008 6:23:56 PM ^they're now saying it was accidental due to the affects of Stillnox (Ambien). That stuff makes you do radical things in your sleep. My friend drove to the police station in his underpants completely asleep on the stuff. Its so surreal. We spotted him in a pub in Fremantle (Perth) on boxing day with Gemma Ward. So unexpected. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 4:08:57 PM Meh. I didnt really like a Knight's Tale and I don't think he's exactly the best looking man in the world. I do look foreward to his role in Batman, yet I can't say anything about that so I won't. He ODed. I refuse to feel sorry for anyone who dies because of anything related to any sort of drug, illigal or otherwise. I do, however, feel sorry for the family. Being 'the wife and child of the late actor' will probably be a pain, both publicly and emotionally. I expecially feel sorry for that child. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 3:36:02 PM He was amazing, I'm still in a little bit of shock that he's dead.....Some really great movies can't be finished now that he's gone (like the batman trilogy and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 3:14:10 PM Poor guy, I remember being younger and not liking '10 Things I Hate About You' except for him, and watching 'Brokeback Mountain' a couple of years ago, I enjoyed that performance so much.I feel bad now for scoffing when he was cast as the Joker. His poor daughter will never know her father, I hope his family get through this as well as can be expected. It's such a shame. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 2:17:53 PM I blame his friends and co-workers WHO SAW THIS COMING and DID NOTHING to force him into treatment.I really feel sorry for his chile who will never know him and his parents who had to see their child die a preventable death. When you see someone's personality change and you see them get into drugs DO SOMTHING or it will haunt you when it's too late. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 1:11:31 PM BTW, it's not for sure that he committed suicide, because in a recent interview he had said that he was having trouble sleeping, and he was taking sleeping pills but they weren't helping him. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 12:11:49 PM judging by what is known by now, it seems to me he didn't commit a junkie suicide but fell victim to the side effects of some badly testet pooty sleeping pills... |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 10:14:51 AM I am generally a happy person, and Jesus didn't have a damn thing to do with it. You made a good point that money doesn't buy happiness, but you don't need to bring religion into it. There are lots of people out there who don't believe in a Christian god or who don't believe in god at all and many of them are perfectly content, just like some Christians out there are unhappy despite their unwavering believe in Jesus. So, god is not the ONLY thing to bring happiness and inner piece. Also, there is no proof that Heath Ledger killed himself. There was a box of Ambien nearby, which he had a prescription for. There have been a lot of reports that there are problems with the drug that can include: "rage reactions, worsened insomnia, confusion, agitation, hallucinations and other forms of unwanted behaviour". Also, he had pneumonia, and the warning on Ambien specifically states that you should not take it if you have shortness of breath, which is something that pneumonia can cause |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 10:02:46 AM yea well i'm pretty happy with life and its not because i'm a jesus freak... i'm still hoping that this isn't a suicide thing, the way its sounding now is that perscribed medication due to stress of work could have possibly interacted with each other. sleeping pills and antianxiety medication aren't an awsome combo... |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 9:53:03 AM Why do rich, talented, and generally lucky people commit suicide? I really don't feel for this loser at all. ---Because, riches, all the talent in the world, and LUCK do NOT buy a person happiness and inner peace. The ONLY thing that will do that is Christ allmighty. I've SPOKEN with actors/ or rich people who said flat out the ONLY thing that will bring you inner peace is when you accept Jesus Christ. I believe it, and their stories. One man that I knew was rich beyond what you'd dream, and was going to kill himself. Instead, he put a gun to his head and said, "God, if you're there so me!" so, God did. And he accpeted Christ. He is finally peaceful, and has no fear of death anymore. Another moral of the story, you NEVER know when you're going to die. So make sure that what YOU believe is what's true, before it's too late. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 6:16:31 AM IMDB already has their page updated with his date of death (which i find odd to have happened so quickly). i thought he was a great actor, but like someone mentioned, people die all the time, its just the people who were actually affected by that person who ever seems sympathetic to it.and the people who are asking about if he finished batman (which he did) are just as bad as teh people who are saying, "who cares" or "lame suicidal loser", a death is a death, its tragic, have some sympathy for his family in case they randomly come across this board. (yes, my family actually scoured the internet and pulled anything about my brother when he passed away, maybe heath's family might accidentally come across these comments). |
