Tuesday, January 29, 2008 7:11:32 PM why is that considered a "clone" a clone would be like an exact form of you. will the eggs mature to look dirrectly like where they were extracted from? only in that case do i beleive it should be referred to as "cloning" |

Friday, January 25, 2008 5:10:55 PM The thing that i find immoral about cloning is that each one despite the fact that it is a clone is still a human. I have nothing against cloning and I'm pro choice but it still seems wrong to make/sacrifice human lives for the sole purpose of lengthening other humans' lives...that is all. Killing and experimenting on a clone is different that using an aborted fetus because the baby would not have been taken care of if it had lived and was (as horrible as it sounds) 'unwanted' ( ) but a clone would have been purposely made to be a 'tool' (how would you feel if you were a clone? O wait...u don't get to live long enough to find out) |

Tuesday, January 22, 2008 1:32:23 PM I think this is a good thing for stem cell research, but a bad thing for pretty much everything else in the world. If they actually start cloning people then the Earth's population will increase drastically to a point where we CAN'T survive. Also Britney Spears and a whole bunch of ex-celebrities that are now crazy will get their hands on it somehow and make tons of creepy clones *shudders*. |

Monday, January 21, 2008 8:43:38 PM I dunno, I'm not really a big fan of cloning. The whole thing kind of freaks me out. |

Monday, January 21, 2008 9:28:42 AM Lauraly, they do plan to do something like The Island, but not to that extent, as the clones wouldnt get past the infant stage. The Island clones were meant to have extra organs and such, however todays scientist are working on growing cloned organs separately, without bodies. |

Monday, January 21, 2008 9:01:16 AM I read another article about this and apparently the researchers failed to obtain any viable stem cells from the embryos they created. It is still very exciting news though as it is one step closer in making it happen. |

Monday, January 21, 2008 8:12:49 AM I think stem cell research is a good thing, but when I think of cloning I worry about the possibility of something like "The Island." |
