That was cute and very cleverly done. I liked the story of how the two forwards people found each other in a world full of backwards people. :) |

Yes, that was incredible. Great piece of work. That was art.Nightshifter: The girl didn't necessarily have to spit a mouthful of juice back into her cup. If I remember correctly (which I can't be bothered to go and confirm), I'm pretty sure the juice thing was one shot, so they could've just filmed it normally and put it in that way, but maybe for the complete authenticity she did spit it in. Just a suggestion. |

Yes, Denmarkian has it right in terms of the mechanics. I think this kind of film takes the basic premise (in this case, people moving forward in a backward-moving world) and plays with the variations in order to see what other kind of emotional response can be invoked. I don't think there's a clean "reason" or "meaning" to this one. It's fun, and that's probably the point.The girl had great eyes. Worked really well for this. |

The filming would be easy. In all the shots save the close-ups of the girl, they act in reverse. Then they just reversed the film, and presto, reverse guy now seems normal and the rest of the world looks odd. |
