Dear PandaLoMein. There's no need to behave impudent, just because we have different frames of reference in life, ok? :)
I can relate to being depressed beyond the point of sanity and self insight. I was depressed after giving birth (post partum depression), it lasted for four years. Looking back upon it now, I can see how irrational my behaviour and mind set was back then, totally sick...
I've always believed that ppd was the deal with Britney as well, but that she's still in denial and refuse to accept professional help. There you have it, and it had nothing to do with no talent or media, just life experience :)
It's nothing wrong in shaving your head or not wearing underwear if it's an well considered act and the circumstances are normal, but her actions proved to be just the opposite. You know what I mean.

ugh, this isn't news anymore. I'd really like it the media would stop writing stories about all the mistakes that celebrities make and focus on real news: information that can actually help us. I don't understand why people care about what Spear's problems are, which star got a divorce, ect. It's all just a waste of our time and a giant infringement on these people's privacy. Why is it that because said person was in a great movie, people want to know everything about them? I do believe that part of the problem is hero worship. Some people want to be exactly like these famous people, girls have extensive medical procedures done to "enhance their body" because they want to look like the girls on their magazine covers who have been photoshopped for hours. Such a dream is unrealistic at best at best and can lead to serious ploblems such as bulimia nervosa
Reports about the personal lives of the stars should stop, but this will never happen; too much money is made off |

Hey Hecathe, what's wrong with shaving your head and not wearing underwear? Is it a plea for help, or is it a plea for dah sexy? My parents and girlfriend tried to stage an intervention for me, but once you've gone commando, you can never go back. Another question for Hecathe . . . you can relate to what's happening to her because you're a no-talent, washed-up, chewed-up-and-spit-out media whore? If that's the case, we should start a support group. |

I can relate to what she's going through myself. And I thik it's painful to watch her wither away with the whole world watching and doing nothing.
She is in denial, she does not know her own good she needs to be taken seriously...why doesn't her family force her to rehab? |

Finally maybe she can recieve help. The poor girl is going through hell and the world points their fingers at her and laughs...
Imagine being so depressed and psychotic that you actually have no control over your life no more. I think all her crazy stunts are calls for help, and when shaving her own head or refusing to wear underwear doesn't help, she starts driving her car recklessly, endangering her environment and kids. She would never hurt them intentionally, but she needs to prove that she might if someone don't come to her rescue.
When you hit rock bottom, you're beyond the point where you can take responsibility for your own life. She tries to get her life back on track, but a small hit in the face, as the criticized performance at Music Awards is enough to sweep her off track again and back on the rocks. She needs help, and it must be consistent and persistent because she will try to escape and pull away at first. That is only "natural" for some one in her ment |

gosh, come on, its not, and never was, funny how the media kept putting a pooload of stress on britney, her family life sucks, her career is seemingly over, media won't leave her alone, now she gets mentally challenged as a result, and all of you conformist losers keep laughing at her and calling her trash. |

God she needs serious help. She, just like a lot of her other famous cohorts seem to think they're invincible so when they're told to do something or face punishment they blow it off as if nothing can touch them. They need to get a grip on reality and realize that just because they've been on magazines, it doesn't mean they can do whatever the hell they want. Take her kids, and never let her see them again. They dont deserve that shame. |

this is on the news right now as i type.ya, some psychologist just said that he doesn't think she shaved her head or smacked a car with an umbrella (<-- btw when did THAT happen?) because she's on drugs, he said she's just going insane. anyway, it's not news and people should leave her alone to clean her life up. |
