About the girl slapping a guy i agree with catlikegrace i dont think spanking a woman is rite cuz like it isn't really humiliating if a guy is slapped by a girl (and most of the time it is playful) but it is really humiliating if a guy spanks a girl esp. in front of people like in the video |

Oh come on. Would any of you give a crap if it was a guy?The main reason those spanking scenes exist is because they couldn't show the hero giving a girl a closed fisted crack to the jaw. It's a way to show them getting their come-uppance after being annoying the whole movie. Other westerns have the girls end up being dunked in water, knocked out by other women, pelted by fruit etc. The feminist psychoanalysis is (as always) more telling of feminist psychology than anything else. |

I agree that if a woman slaps a guy then he's allowed to be physical back (even if the guy is stronger, it's no excuse for the girl to be allowed to hit him and he's just supposed to take it) but some of those the girls didn't slap him first in that video (that was shown).
Like, in the second one the people talk about how the guy is basically parenting his wife and she is getting the spanking for talking too much. F*ck that. |

I've never slapped a guy, but I know guys who have been slapped by girls, and they say it doesn't hurt. Not fun that they are slapping them, but according to them it isn't painful. It's a different story if guys are hitting girls. |

Okay, some of these movies are classics, but none the less are indicative of a time when women and children were put on the same level intellectually, and emotionally. I won't blame men for that, because for a long time women allowed that philosophy to go on .. a good example being the way these actress' agreed to take part in these scenes... helpless childish pretty play-things being thrown about by brutish rugged cowboy stereotypes. |
