Monday, December 17, 2007 10:09:12 PM So many stop motion cartoons this time of year. I remember one about a donkey with big ears, the little drummer boy, and some lame one with a fairy. There was even an easter one about Peter Cottontail. Of all of them, though, this one, "Year without a Santa" was my favorite. |

Monday, December 17, 2007 5:19:42 PM um, yeah, they didnt "meet", because if you actually watched the movie, they're brothers, their mom being mother nature |

Sunday, December 16, 2007 7:22:51 PM I love this movie. My sister and I always argue about which Miser brother is better (I, personally, prefer Snowy -- all those lame puns!!). |

Sunday, December 16, 2007 6:17:31 PM How can that be a classic. I have never even heard about it. It looks like some old doll cartoon from Czechoslovakia. |

Sunday, December 16, 2007 3:08:23 PM I know the guy that did the storyboarding on this and the other Christmas ones like Rudolph. Don Duga, he's worked on other animation films too. I took a animation class from him, nice to try doing animation old school style, unlike now where it's all about Flash and Computer animations.Nice to see a classic on here, although I do think Rudolph is better. |

Sunday, December 16, 2007 2:22:28 AM "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is far superior. Of course, I'm only saying that because I've never actually watched "The Year Without A Santa Claus." Although I DO remember Snowmiser's song from "Batman & Robin," where Dr. Freeze was forcing his minions to sing along. |
