So many stop motion cartoons this time of year. I remember one about a donkey with big ears, the little drummer boy, and some lame one with a fairy. There was even an easter one about Peter Cottontail. Of all of them, though, this one, "Year without a Santa" was my favorite. |

I love this movie. My sister and I always argue about which Miser brother is better (I, personally, prefer Snowy -- all those lame puns!!). |

I know the guy that did the storyboarding on this and the other Christmas ones like Rudolph. Don Duga, he's worked on other animation films too. I took a animation class from him, nice to try doing animation old school style, unlike now where it's all about Flash and Computer animations.Nice to see a classic on here, although I do think Rudolph is better. |

ah, what a great link! I just love those two scenes, I get them stuck in my head all year 'round. I wish they showed those old stop motions more. Lets see, how many are there? Theres A year without a santa clause, Rudolph the rednose reindeer, santa clause is coming to town..is there another I'm forgetting? |

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is far superior. Of course, I'm only saying that because I've never actually watched "The Year Without A Santa Claus." Although I DO remember Snowmiser's song from "Batman & Robin," where Dr. Freeze was forcing his minions to sing along. |
