Wednesday, December 12, 2007 11:31:30 PM The thing to keep in mind about the linked article is that the _15_ cartoon intros were considered PAINFULLY UNFORGETTABLE by the author(s). This has absolutely no bearing on other cartoons, whose intros were painfully unforgettable or no.That being said, I highly disagree with the rankings of said 15 shows. I can't believe they ranked Tiny Toons at the bottom yet had Animaniacs at the top. Had Tiny Toons', with their self-explanatory narration, not been such a hit in the early '90s, no one would have written the Animaniacs' intro in such a similar manner. Also, I guess I'm too much of a "classic" Transformers fanboy. I love that damn song. However, I really, REALLY hate the Mighty Max show. Then again, I found the toys long before the show was created and thought that aping on the concept was a stupid idea. Add to that the casting of Rob Paulsen, who has played more cartoon characters than ANYONE, EVER. Ah well, t'was fun with the nostalgia and all. |

Monday, December 10, 2007 10:40:26 PM No Darkwing Duck? Also no Ghostbusters. Transformers, TMNT and Sonic were the shizznit. Biker Mice from Mars would have kicked arse too. Even, get this, CowBoys form Moo Mesa! And Bucky O' Hare. |

Monday, December 10, 2007 2:39:52 PM xxminglexx, I think there used to be two different sonic cartoons at the time: the more cartoony one with Scratch and Grounder and then the more dramatic one with the Freedom Fighters |

Sunday, December 09, 2007 9:55:04 PM i don't know a single kid at my high school who couldn't pick up the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air at any point in the song given. And, ANIMANIACS FTW!! That show was hilarious! I watched it till I was like 11 and they stopped airing it on Cartoon Network :( |

Sunday, December 09, 2007 9:52:52 PM WOW! i totally forgot about a lot of these!!! I think it's kind of funny that my sister who iiiis two years older than me was a pokemaniac before i was! I was alrerady gone to school in the morning when it came on and she introduced me to it one day when i pretended to be sick. It's funny because she tried to explain iit to me and I thought she was a total idiot! butthen she faded out and I rose to the top of Victory Road!!!!......nostalgia.... |

Sunday, December 09, 2007 6:28:50 PM I'm glad others were outraged by the lack of Captain Planet. Pokemon wasn't an early 90's show, it was released in the US at either '98 or '99. I remember the first time it aired on FOX, I watched it before going to school and fell in love with the idea, so I went and bought the gameboy game. |

Sunday, December 09, 2007 6:24:18 PM As for the people asking about pokemon, I think this list was compiled by somebody a bit older. Also can I cite the complete lack of Captain Planet? |
