the US already beat them with jets with vector-engines...plus US already have stealth jet with those engine...with un-manned fighters...Russia is so screwed |

Haha, Master siff, I love the fact the fact you think Lockheed Martin were the one's who developed hovering planes. British Aerospace Engineering were developing Harriers with VTOL capabilities from 1984, and the first flew in 1985. British pride and the kick-assness of our pilots means our Typhoons could still in a dogfight, so there! Plus people need to realise that evading a missily really isn't that hard. Most fast jets are equipped with radar recivers nowadays, which rings the most annoying alarm ever right into your helmet to let you know a missile is locked. Taking to steps to avoid collision is simple, you swerve and deploy flares.
Hmm 1984 we were test flying stealth aircraft we will give you the hovering thing hahahahaha

And I pose a question ? If we built a plane that can not be detected by radar do you really think it fires missiles that can. Same concept smaller object. ask sadham .He got his ass kicked by them twice.

Yikes, the only one who "gets" this is pianoman. This was nothing more than a demonstration of piloting ability. The smoke is for reference so you can see which way the plane is moving (there is no reference in a blue sky from the ground shooting video). The video makes no claims as to the superiority of any aircraft from any country. Why did this get blown out of porportion? Oh, wait, nevermind.... |

Heh Flakk stuffu doofus. i dont think countries go to war over night so your stupid argument that a plane could get there faster is bull. You think one of your precious jets takes off from America and flys all the way to iraq fires a missile then flies back???? No it get put on an aircraft carrier and taken SLOWLY to within stirke range then drops a bomb/missile on a school and finally uses up its quota of bullets shooting at friendly troops (then the American government refuses to put the drating retards that kill our troops on trial with some drating lame excuse)I'm pretty sure the same effect could be produced firing a long range ballistic missile as i said before jets are just for showing off and for people like you to beat the bishop over |

Give it two years and the US will jealously pool all their funds into research and development just so they can come out with the next "plane of awesomeness" that they'll claim can defeat the Russians any day in any place.. and then never really get the chance to use it.Ah yes. ummm just because a plane can puff trails of smoke and doesn't mean its advanced. Lockhead Martin a couple of years ago developed a plane that can vertically take off, land, stop in mid-air like a helicopter, and do a perfect 360 degree turn. |

Last comment - keep in mind that the F-117, used in Gulf War I, was actually first operation in 1983, and first reveled to the world in 1988. Consider that what we REALLY have is still secret, that we spend more on our military than the next 14 Counties COMBINED, and you just KNOW that we have the baddest toys. And lastly, consider that about every 10 years weapons and military materiel get old and need replacing, and the US gets involved in major military operations about once every 10 years....just putting that out there. |

BUT its SLOWER and lacks full STEALTH. But no measure is it "superiour" to the F-22, European pride notwithstanding.And its flown by Europeans ;) Just poking fun guys no hard feelings! When the Chinese threaten, we've got your back, just like we saved your asses in WWI, WWII, helped the french in Vietnam (thanks for that one), and currently are cleaning up the post-colonial mess the brits left in the middle east. No hard feelings though, someday we'll sell you our F-22's, BUT WE ONLY TAKE CANADIAN DOLLARS NOW.
