Thursday, November 19, 2009 4:07:25 AM pathetic and weak. i've been insulted in REAL life and online and i've had worse things said to me. things i won't even repeat haha i mean some guy on here called me ugly once but am i dead? nopeshe was a whiny little 13 year old girl and now she's rotting in thr ground all because of of a little prank. if you can even call it that. wtf bitch. even if you were insulted in real life and online, you don't have to call that girl a whiny little 13 year old only because she killed herself. and they did not only insult her but they did worser things.
at least she did't turn out as a ugly gothic who hates herself because she is fat. |

Friday, December 14, 2007 9:23:00 PM "no medicine can be perscribed to those under 18 ATM." Note to people who think this: They are not FDA approved, because they increase the risk of suicidal thoughts. But I was on antidepressants from age 12-16, and those were the most fudgeed up years of my life.w00t for me, I got off them against doctor's orders! never felt better :) |

Sunday, December 09, 2007 12:43:06 AM i have to agree, hanging herself in a closet doesnt add up. for one most of the bars in a closet are pretty weak. also, their not that high. in order to hang yourself, wouldnt you need to not touch the ground with your feet? according to what i found online, average height of a 13 yearold girl is around 5", and im 17 and 5'2" and im too tall to stand under the bar in my closet flat footed. plus if its got a shelf directly above it, then you cant just tie yourself off above the pole. i imagine most closest are pretty similar in their design. only reason i can think of that the pole would be high enough is if it was one of those storage works thingys. also the dying a day later thing is suspicious. If were at an age of medicine where we can cure people of all of these different diseases, why couldnt they keep her alive? shove a tube down her throat and force her to breath! If her parents stopped a doctor from doing that, then their more to blame than the woman down the street, |

Saturday, December 08, 2007 6:57:43 PM i totally agree with CaptainPatif this girl was getting teased and taunted her whole life than it was WORSE cuz she thought he was talking about her personallity... because 'he' 'didnt' know what she looked like (remember she was teased about her weight) the mom who taunted her should go to jail not cuz the girl hung herself... but cuz she new the girl was gonna get upset cuz the mom ew about her illnes.
If something isn't illegal, they are untouchable, for now. If you really want to get something done about this, get off i-am-bored, tell your congress dude and make it so this cant happen... i agree it should become the moms foult(well it is...) but legally... u hear about these child abuse stories all the time and they need to end (and btw this is a form of child abuse!) |

Thursday, December 06, 2007 5:34:01 PM The people that say its MySpaces fault are retarded. Thats like saying if you hit your thumb with a hammer while your hammering the nail, that its the hammer's fault, or if you spill your coffee on yourself its Dunkin' Donut's fault. Seriously grow the hell up, It's not MySpace's fault that this woman was an immature bitch picking on a 13 year old girl. Seriously they should have done something to the woman. MySpace didn't do anything, it CAN'T do anything because it's not a living thing, it's just a website, and websites can't kill people, nor cause them to kill people. Thats like saying it's the mall's fault those people got killed in Omaha. Anyone agree? PS, yeah big deal, I'm 17. Screw that stupid "your opinion is invalid because your in the 13-17 range" thing. |

Wednesday, December 05, 2007 7:21:47 AM Overmann, yeah not really mate...because, to be honest, it wouldn't happen. It could be that my friends have grown out of the usual cycle of teenage depression. It could also be that I don't hang around with losers.I'm still calling the story fake, as nobody has been able to tell me how she managed to hang herself...it doesn't add up. And whoever was talking about her having 'clinical depression', well thats just rubbish. That's why you can't take on anything anyone says, 'cause it's all just made up rubbish. |

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 11:40:21 PM I agree that it's stupid to kill yourself over a myspace page, but this girl had problems. I mean, talking about suicide when you're in third grade is pretty hardcore. So, for an adult to feed her that kind of crap when she knows what it could do to her (since the article says she was aware of Megan's mental problems)is pretty messed up. I mean, she shouldn't be thrown in jail, but if some random person decided to beat the crap out of her, I wouldn't object to it. If it's real, that is. |

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 11:34:59 PM I don't understand why some people here are still insulting the girl. Congratulations, you've proven your superiority over a dead 13-year-old girl. And Darwinism--social or otherwise--is pretty much a moot point to human society. It was rendered useless around the same time we realized that we had the capability and moral obligation to take care of fellow human beings. Did a few of you not get the memo? |

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 10:56:33 PM To all who are calling this "Social darwinism" and other bullsh*t, put yourself or someone close to you in this girl's shoes. She has mental issues, and as was mentioned before, no medicine can be perscribed to those under 18 ATM.It's horrible that someone with an influence on her children would f*ck around with the emotions of a mentally unstable teenager. You've all been through those awkward years, if you haven't, this site has an age limit. Society has desensitized us to death. This poor girl's life is over, no restart. And all because of someone who should have a maturity level above what she has. I am amazed that no charges have been pressed. And a last word to all of you Social Darwinists. If you had a mentally unstable friend/relative and I used the internet to maliciously attack them, and they committed suicide, would you say "My friend was a weak link in social darwinism, so they deserved what they got. Thank god i don't have their stupidity clouding |

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 10:03:11 PM ^ Just cause someone stated their opinion on a topic, doesnt mean you should call up the karma gods and tell them to strike them down with lightning. I'm not saying something bad hasn't happened. Like geez, a 13 year old chick died, cmon. But if the legal system can't do something about it, well crap. If something isn't illegal, they are untouchable, for now. If you really want to get something done about this, get off i-am-bored, tell your congress dude and make it so this cant happen... I unno i gotta do my homework, school tomorrow

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 9:58:08 PM It disgusts me to hear how callous and cold others are when they hear of someone's death. But that is typical of immature @ss h0les. The girl had clinical depression that is difficult to treat in teens because there are no drugs approved to help those under the age of 18. People who have never suffered from depression should all keep their cake holes shut because they have no idea how hopeless and easily destroyed a person can get when their is a chemical imbalance in their brain. The adults who inflicted the emotional lynching of this girl online are disgusting and should be charged with neglegent homicide. They knew she would be susceptible to cruelty and it doesn't take any stretch of the imagination to understand that if you tell an emotionally disturbed child that the world would be better without them, you basically just signed their death warrant. To all those twisted sisters out their who think it is funny for anyone to die, life has a hard lesson in store for you. Karma. |

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 9:51:40 PM I am in utter shock at some of your guys' comments. This girl had KILLED herself over this. O.K, maybe she had some mental problems and the fact that she killed herself over something on Myspace is absurd, but this young girl is still dead; and that mother of her friend was a direct cause of it. Wasn't EVERYONE mean at one time or another in highschool? This was a sick, malicious trick played on that mother and personally I think she should have her children taken away completely. Also, all you bastards out there citing "Social Darwinism" should get a life. I would love to see your actual professions and your physical fitness level. It ticks me off how people in this world, especially the nobodies, think that they're actually making such a difference in this world that they have the right to ridicule and make fun of situations that cause people so much pain. It's called karma bitches.

Tuesday, December 04, 2007 8:49:04 PM "Lets recap: -girl is too dumb to realise this kid is on myspace but says he doesn't have a phone line.-Apparently all websites are now stored on everyones hard-drives, meaning we can delete other peoples messages forever. -She 'hung' (even though the correct usage is 'hanged') herself with a belt...do you know how hard that is?! -She hanged herself in her closet...I'm guessing from the pole for hanging ones coat-hangers...how on earth would that support the fat cow's weight?! -She died a day after the hanging...I think they must have sent her to the butcher rather than the hospital. I'm not buying it." well he coulda gone to the library or something to go online she wasnt smart enough to delete anything the real question is how do u know how hard it is idk either maybe they donated her body to science |
