For all you that like to poke fun at the "Rednecks" for drinking beer and jumping the sidekick... I'd wager none of you ever had as much fun as those guys did that day... And I’d also wager that none of you know that a sidekick like that comes from the factory with an integral roll bar tied to the sub frame that’s designed to withstand a high speed roll over... You certainly didn’t know that a Suzuki sidekick of that type has a relatively small 1.8 liter motor and is rear wheel drive which was engineered to achieves a near 50/50 weight distribution... Furthermore the vehicles relatively low curb weight and cost makes it an ideal jump platform… And if you were producing a video of that nature, a Sip of Beer prior to the jump is a perfect display of bravado, the man obviously wasn’t intoxicated. Its easy to mistake another’s planning and technical knowledge for ignorance when you yourself know nothing… I’d bet the only thing you |

I'm so proud of that little cheap car! YAY Sidekick!Dumb? Yes. Ruined car? Yes. Did that car go out in a bigger blaze of glory than any other Sidekick? If the answer is no, give me a video. I think the video thing may have been a joke, by the way. I mean, they all seemed to know this was a bad idea. Sure, they did it anyway...but I think there was intentional humor in that.
