I really don't care about people who smoke. They could choke on their cigarettes in front of me, I just wish I didn't have to smell the smoke.
If I wanted to smell smoke, I'd go burn my nostrils or something. What's go good about smoking? Do people like sucking down on something? They can go suck their d*cks or, even better, mine.

i wouldn't suck a guy's dick if he smoked. it'd taste horrible. also i don't want anyone who's smoked to have their mouth anywhere near me.

hmmm, its so hard to choose between the health of my lungs versus how cool i look when i smoke.

i think it only looks cool to you guys, but really, when i walk by people who smoke, i hold my breath so i don't breathe it in. then me and my friends converse on what losers they are for smoking >.>

Charizzo you ass. Cigars are not "more natural" any more than light cigarettes are healthier for you; if you really buy into that crap then you deserve to die from lung cancer.

I have absolutely no dillusions that smoking is bad for me. Do I do it? Yes. Do I think it's cool? drat no. Anyone who starts smoking because it's cool are drating tools. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, when I was partying a lot a couple of years ago and really drunk, I would inhale some of my friends smoke while he was on the back patio and just that little bit of nicotine made me want more; he bummed me a smoke and after that, it was over. So the moral of the story is, if you're not a smoker stay that way. If you are a smoker, don't let those people out there talk you down. It's our choice right? Not like I'm blowing down your throats.

PS: This is a shortened form of my thesis for college, and it's always up for debate. So I hope someone brings a meaningful counter-example for me to argue with.

I don't smoke, however this example goes into other forms as well. Alcoholism is one example. Ever realize why some alcoholics gain a tolerance to alcohol (meaning that they have to drink more before they get drunk)? The same falls for this example. The body gets used to the amount of toxins entering into the body and compensates for it. It regulates the release of it through whatever means is necessary (normally a major organ). Believe me I don't condone anything like smoking or drinking, and if you don't believe me, then it's fine.

I could fight against this video for the sake of all smokers. And I will (slightly). Of course smoking is linked to cancer, and thus inhaling every single bit of smoke as shown in this video would result in tar such as this. Realize that the human body (lungs and many other organs) have a way of filtering such toxins. The average person who gets cancer from smoking this amount of cigarettes is zero. Wonder why? Our body filters out most toxins that are put into it's system. Of course, people who smoke most of their life will die from cancer or other health problems. It's just a matter of time before filtering out the toxins catches up with the intake of the toxins into the system.

So caboose you say smoking is good becuase it funds the U.S.? The U.S. is already heading for broke whether thousands of smokers pay for cancer or not.

What I don't get is why not make something that is good for you addictive? Like putting nicotine in vitamins so instead of making your sorrounding area smell like a$$, you can just pop a pill that actually tightens your a$$. Just seems like the tabacco companys can't change and want to kill people.

"I hope he realizes that buying all those 400 cigarettes is promoting the sale of them.
way to show them!"

Did you happen to know that 1 pack of cigs only costs 9.7 cents to produce? the other 3-4 dollars is all tax money. He didn't help cig sales much. He helped fund the US gov't. Same with every smoker. Smoking is good, without it, the US would be broke.

ugh nasty. i have nothing against people that smoke since virtually allof my friends smoke except for my fiancee (he used to but quit) but honestly i don't understand why anyone would want that in their lungs or even their mouth in the first place

and please don't try to justify it by saying "oh well THOSE have more tar than others because of this and that and this and stick up my ass" okay shut up. ALL cigs have tar deal with it. if you want to smoke it up fine but don'ttry to justify it by saying "well i smoke flitered so it has less tar than these" congratulations for you, you're still inhaling about 500 other lethal toxins. Including the chemical they stuff dead bodies with. so yea...just smoke and shut up about it

Let them smoke, they are just killing themselves, then there wont be any of them left. Smoking will be completely gone in 50 years, its only been common knowledge that its bad for about 40 years.

My mom smokes. She has for over 20 years. Almost 30.

I showed her this, then when it was over I said,

"Well... Enjoy your next smoke! :D"

Then she was like,

"I don't think I'll be able to now...
Mission accomplished?"

Lol. Yeah, we'll see. =/
I always show her stuff like this to get her to quit.

I laugh everytime I see a smoking addict tell a obes person that they should loose weight xD Smoking = premature death, Obesity = premature death

Gross. Never started or ever wanted too, never will. Just the smell of a cig makes me feel like I'm about to have an asthma attack.

If you must smoke, grow and roll your own or just face the fact that you are "the mans" little rooster-sucker.

the fact that so many people under 18 in the U.S. smoke on this site is highly disturbing on so many levels i can not begin to comprehind it, anyway geek kittie is right about marijuana, it doesn't have nearly the amount of chemicals that cigarettes do, cigarettes contain on average 400-500 different chemicals, while if you smoke pure marijuana that you grew yourself, it's not nearly as bad as a cigarette, i don't smoke, nor am i about to, nor do i intend on it in this life time, smoking is unhealthy for you and when i die i want to go out with a bang, not laying on a hospital bed with cancer gasping for breath and barely hanging on to life

Yes. Yes I do.
Smoking is a wonderous thing.
Except Dorals. Those are f*cking disgusting redneck cigarettes.
"I don't really mind people smoking, I just wish they wouldn't throw their butts on the ground. Why is littering so unaccepted, yet people can do that without getting a sideways glance from all those standing around them? It's very dickish, in any case."
:] I keep mine, then throw 'em all away.

While I am not about to approve of smoking marijuana, heartx3jess needs to cite sources if she's going to make vacuous claims. We are simply not seeing the same kind of numbers for cancer in those who smoke pot as those who smoke cigarettes. I am not saying smoking pot is completely safe, but it's not nearly as bad as cigarettes.

My Dad died of lung cancer. If any smoker could see a video of the last 3 days of his life, I guarantee you they would quit.
