i dont even think about asking my bf to go shopping because i know how much he hates it. i love him enough to spare him the boredom and agony and tell him to go somewhere with his friends.

I hate the term "Holiday Period"... its Christmas, damnit!

Anyway both me and my bf are guys, so when shopping we go in, get exactly what we want, grab some lunch and head out. Easy.

My boyfriend and I enjoy shopping together. We're a new couple (11 months) so we're still lovey. Honestly, half the time he spots stuff for me before I do.

"holiday-shopping season"

Does this particular word combination make anyone besides myself cringe with loathing?

I don't really see what the big deal is. I take my fiance' to the mall. I go into a girls store, I tell him, "Honey, why don't you go into the game stop?" we go to our respective places. He has fun, I get my shopping done, I call him back to ask him if he likes the "outfit" that I've chosen. He says "yes," or "no" and we either end it there or continue. My fiance' actually ENJOYS being part of my shopping experience. I've been with this guy for 2 years and 8 months, and we're getting married nine days from now. I REALLY know this guy. He actually picked out the outfit I'm wearing. I think that shopping would be a LOT less stressful on every man, if women only went shopping when they NEEDED to. If they had a goal, if they included their bf's in the decision making process, and if they let their partners go do something THEY want to for a while... I think it's really that simple. Because I've dated 7 different guys, and they ALL acted this way.

"It would be so much easier if she just didn't bring her boyfriend shopping with her. I'd much rather go shopping with my friends than my boyfriend. You can't get honest opinions on clothing out of guys, anyway, so what's the point?"
that pretty much sums it up. unless the guy expresses an interest to go WITHOUT you pressuring him, dont make him go. its most beneficial for both of you that way.
unless he truly enjoys shopping

I somewhat enjoyed going shopping with my girlfriend...when I actually had one. I'm not the kind of person that shops for myself so she'd offer to go help me out and while walking around the mall we'd end up shopping for her too...that reminds me..I need a girlfriend cause its time for some new clothes...

Lol... I think all guys understand when a guy is waiting outside the fitting room it's for his girlfriend or daughter.
