Oh, I'll admit that customers can be downright stupid and abhorrent. I've worked in customer service before and I'm familiar with the "drattards."On a side note, I can speak Spanish and I do not eat Snickers. (I'm more of a Crunch Bar fan.) |

Yeah sure, they had breakfast for us, but could any of us really get to it? Nope, we all had to stand there ringing stupid drating customers up while starving to death because customers don't realize we're human beings too. They had put the breakfast in the breakroom where nobody but managers could get to it. I took my half at 9:30am and all of it was practically gone already.
Waited til I took my 15 to eat pooty pizza that was basically thin bread with sauce.
Some guy stopped me as I was walking to the employee area and asked "Excuse me could you check me out?" I was about to go off on him, but I said "No, you can go over there and stand in line, this isn't my department, and I'm going on my break."
Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to working today either, and I plan on finding some job that isn't retail before christmas.

Actually, my sister and I got ALL of our christmas shopping today. We were out, we were nice to people, people were nice to us. No one was trampled or in the hospital, we were in the malls, we were in Walmart *shrug* ... It actually wasn't even as BUSY as I anticipated. I mean, seriously... we didn't even spend more than five minutes looking for a parking spot... But, we did PRAY for one... and "POP" there it was. :) |

I work at JCPenny, ( clothing department store at my local mall). We opened at 4AM this morning. I didn't work until 5PM so I didn't have to deal with the rush... just the mess they left. Two and a half hours fixing five tables of ties. I drating hate ties now. Didn't get off till midnight. Our recovery team is probably still there trying to salvage the women's department. |
