poor kid, my parents always gave me the chance to believe in what i wanted, i've even been able to have debates on religion with my mum without it becoming a shouting matchbut it is kinda forced on you from a young age, i mean they made me sing hymns every wednesday at my primary school and didn't give you a choice thank god for free will ;) |

Listen, the only thing wrong with Christianity is Christians. The religion itself is about love and peace, it's just when bitches like that mom try to shove beliefs down people's throats and take the Bible literally, it makes us look bad. My mum and dad are atheists as well. They don't really care what decisions I choose to make as long as I'm smart about choosing them and I respect them a lot for that. |

I wonder who turned off the camera. I bet it was his sister or something. I think he'll be in a LOT more trouble after they realized he videotaped it. But there are alternatives... Catholics and Christians are two different religions, with sort-of different views. One has saints that the other believes is unnecessary. One is with ceremonies (reading from the bible), while the other has praising and singing christian rock or new age or whatever it was.
I don't know much about either, but I left Catholism, Catholicism, Catholisti-- f*cking whatever, when I was 6. That is how I know a bit of it, from memory I guess. |

Guess i'm lucky that way. I was brought up just the opposite as i had atheist parents. So yeah,they don't so much as care if i believe in god/religion or not. They've only and always emphasized on one thing-to be a good human being.As dad would say,"do the right thing not with the fear of eternal damnation but just purely by good intentions and conscience."
...now if i turned out perfect and a miss goody-two-shoes is a whole other issue...;p *heh*

If I said i were an atheist, my mom would just be like, "ok, but you'll burn in hell" and treat me mostly normal (i'm catholic). I have a friend who is an atheist and he makes fun of me, but not in a mean way. |

I have nothing against religon. In fact, if you have one (most unlike myself), that's great! but PLEASE refrain from forcing your religon on your children! Give them a choice! They have an opinion, and a different perspective too! FRIGGEN' HELL PEOPLE! O_o |
