The legal drinking age in japan is much lower than in the US (if there is one at all...) so it may not be non-alcoholic |

Kodomo no nomimono- Kids Drink...The last part with the symbols says "Kodomo no nomimono" (kids drink) and then "O-_____ dewa arimasen" (I can't read one of the symbols). That means that something isn't in it, probably alchohol. It then says "sangaria" which is the company name. =) |

Non alcoholic beer = 1% alc by volume. You still need to be 21 to buy it in the good ole usa. It would take an average adult female 20 odouls (in an hour) for instance to reach the .08% blood alcohol level needed for a dui. So hence they call it non-alcoholic. A small child can get drunk from it, however.No one cares I'm sure; I just felt the need to share since I just had to take an alcohol class to serve it recently. ;p |

Beer for kids would owrk weel in Japan, seeing how their ideal of good taste is waaaay different. Ever tasted miso? Its fermented paste that is in pretty mush everything they eat. Beer is fermented as well. Anyways, watch Iron Chef for a visual reference. |
