British Office was great, but so is the American and they are very different. Also, there were only 12 episodes of British Office ever made, and the American version was made after the British version was completely finished so it's not like there was any choice between the two, first came British then American. They also were both created by the same person-- Ricky Gervais (he is Exec Producer of both versions). |

sertrbl, if americans dont like british shows stop buying british licences and changing them, its unoriginal and makes your people look like racist moronsSpeaking of the american office, the US networks just bought the IT crowd, making their own version as well........but the guy who played moss is going to be in it, y'know like how they tried to put robert llewelyn into their version of red dwarf and if you think americans dont get british humor your wrong, american networks buy the idea and then CHANGE what made the show good, what americans see as british shows is normally a butchered american take on the idea. point in case : One foot in the grave
