Yeah...Um, to all those saying she's milking it: if a person who had NO RIGHT TO TOUCH YOU AT ALL had broken your arm for simply having a little attitude and not picking up a piece of cake correctly, wouldn't you want everybody to know about it? I would! Security guards at my school weren't even allowed to break up fights unless they saw blood or weapons. And they certainly weren't allowed to do anything more than search the occasional locker or drive around in their little golf-carts.... yeah, there's more to this back there, somehwere, behind the media noise... But I bet it won't make much of a difference. The guy can't have a single good reason for breaking bones. |

drat the police.what the drat is up with them going ballistic all the sudden? actually, more likely that it's been happening for years and years but only now do we have the technology to record and show evidence of it to everyone. |

Did anyone notice like %80 of the kids who scream "Z0MG-Teh Razism!!" all the time are under seventeen? Listen up kiddies, stop buying everything the TV shoves in your face. You have no idea what this guard must put up with everyday, or if this girl causes him trouble all the time. Also, lay off the whole "racism" thing, I get called "cracka" all the time, but if I were to say the "N" word, OH NOES TEH RAZISM!! Double Standard FTW. Everyone grow up. |

:O or maybe, the cop/what ever he is,
thought the cake has some chemicals in it which
when it touches dirty floor tiles it got 30 seconds til it go boom! so the cop tells her to clean it up so she does but not all the way so the world is doomed so the cop thinks to himself
"hey! she dooms us all,ima break her wrist and go crazy on everybody else! good idea, me!"
and did just that! it may sound far fetch and if u got to were i am right now then good for you,
i know pronounce that you don't have ADD/ADHD

I do not care if this child was voted the b_itch of the year the security guard had no legal standing to use force to restrain this victim. His job is to observe and report. A security guard is not a law enforcement agent and has no privileges beyond a normal citizen. This should be a wake up call to the community the schools community with demand that the security staff as well as the principle, the person in charge, be terminated. |

to the guy who supposedly goes to this school, I don't think "at worst" you would get a detention for dropping cake, wouldn't you just like clean it up and move on ._.seriously there has GOT to be some conspiracy involving this, why would she get expelled, and what's going on with spectators getting in trouble? |

Wow at my school the police call it "Crime ridge" ( pine ridge is the name BTW) because we have wanna be thugs and poo jumping the rent-a-cops,bringing guns to the football games, gang fights and drugs but none of that poo makes news. a girl dropping cake does and shes prolly milking it like most people do. messed up. |

Wow, I'm suprised this got on here.
I go to that school. Something they forgot to mention was that the kids recording/taking pictures got tackled to the ground so they could try and take their phones away, which to me, is a sure sign that they were very well aware that they were doing something wrong. The girl who got her wrist broken ended up getting expelled. Over cake. F--kin ridiculous, right? Poor dear, I feel bad for her. She's a pretty nice kid; I don't know her personally, but she was pretty okay compared to some of the other kids that go to our school. But honestly, this is so ridiculous. I bet that if at some other school, someone dropped cake, the worst that would happen to them is detention or after school work, or something of the sort. A broken wrist and getting arrested over cake is just pointlessly stupid. |

Well, I wanna see the other side of the story, but even if the girl was partly in the wrong, I still think the guard was also in the wrong. If ANY of the facts are REMOTELY true.And I agree with sprink about implying. It's not like it's an incredibally unique idea, hearing all sides of the story first. It's just common sense, really. The fact that one other person had the same idea as you isn't really all that unusual. |
