Monday, October 08, 2007 5:04:46 PM I like Internet Explorer, the big E is cooler than the foxy thing (That's the only thing I go by, my Dad sets up what I use and I really couldn't give a poo...) |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 11:04:03 PM "I meant to prove that NO BROWSER is worth having if you don't back it up in some way."That, I can agree with. What you said earlier implied that IE is a great browser, if you're willing to invest a decent sum of money to keep your PC safe. I always choose the most effective route, as long as it stays under a certain monetary value. |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 5:58:45 PM "This is retarded. Why is Firefox big and clumsy? Why is Opera sleek? Dumb as dirt."Because foxfire has the largest memory foot print out of any browser, opera has one of the smallest and was rated the fastest in 6 out of 7 test. Funny thing is Foxfire has a slow load time the mozilla. |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:37:21 AM Randomizor is right. I scan for viruses occasionally, but I never have any. "I use IE just fine, no problems at all,". IF you use IE, you are the close minded type who is stubborn and wont try anything new. I bet If I had a look in your computer I could tell you what is wrong with it. You probably havent noticed that your computer takes half an hour to startup, most of your programs work incorrectly and you think its normal to close IE though the task manager. Silly silly girl. |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:35:47 AM I had trouble getting girls...until recently that is.Once I installed the Opera web browser on my laptop, hot chicks just started grabbing my balls on the street and ramming their tongues down my throat. I can hardly keep up with all the wild sex. Thanks, Opera. You rock! |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:31:46 AM firedragongt,I think Martomator is trying to say that you shouldn't even need to think about getting a firewall or anti-virus program. You should just be able to trust that your browser will have the correct protection. It'd be hard work to find an IE user that trusts their browser enough to not get either, Firefox on the other hand renders them unnecessary. IE is half the cause for needing to get a firewall or anti-virus program in the first place. |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:06:01 AM What "resort" means is that your browser shouldn't be your security. Its better to have something else backing it up, no matter WHAT you use for your browser. As for firefox being more secure, I use IE just fine, no problems at all, and my firewall and anti-virus programs were free. I don't need firefox just for "security"/ |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:03:58 AM This is what I was replying to:"If you have to resort to security through your browser, then you shouldn't be allowed on a computer. IE can be just as secure virus-wise as any other browser if you take other precautions. Like, pick up a firewall. And I don't mean a half-ass software firewall; get a hardware one. A real, box-shaped, connected-to-computer, few-hundred-dollars firewall. Besides, the security differences between IE and FF are virtually non-existent. Run a few days unprotected on both, visit the same websites, and then see which is worse off. They'll be in pretty much the same state. The people who make viruses and warez know that other browsers are gaining popularity, and most current viruses can get around nearly all browser defenses." |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 1:02:46 AM What do you mean RESORT to browser security? I thought that would be easier than buying a hardware one for "a few hundred dollars". Maybe IE can be just as secure virus-wise as any other browser if you take other precautions. But then again, you could just use firefox and save the hassle and the "few hundred dollars". "most current viruses can get around nearly all browser defenses." Well I dont have any viruses, using Firefox. I sure do know I used to get pooloads when I used IE.Dude you don't know crap. Go back to kindergatern, or move out of your mothers basement. Excessive m a s t u r b a t i o n is bad for you anyway, and your mom ain't even that good looking. |

Tuesday, October 02, 2007 12:34:10 AM Allow me to stand up as a proud and happy CONVERT. Had it not been for others CRAMMING it down my throat, I might still be using a browser that didn't have "radial context" or "repagination" or "zoomfox" or any other awesome extension. Thanks Mozilla. I tip my hat to you. |
