Saturday, September 22, 2007 2:01:56 PM With all this geek talk about batteries, I'm surprised no one bothered mentioning that the technical name for a AA "battery" (and other similar but variably sized "batteries") is actually cell. The only correct application of the word battery is for the 6V because it is comprised of multiple cells. |

Saturday, September 22, 2007 1:45:02 PM Those bateries would be weak, it takes so many of them to power that big batery. Im sure 2 of the store bateries would power it. It wouldnt last |

Saturday, September 22, 2007 12:33:13 AM even if this was true, batteries that are missing the labels can get very hot in some devices (due to lack of insulation)I know this first hand! |

Friday, September 21, 2007 5:50:48 PM ted, reading is essential, this was covered. basic electronic knowledge tells you that wiring in parallel will not increase the power output, but will increase the capacity. hence why people who wire up systems in cars sometimes add batteries:http://batteryuniversity.com/partone-24.... for all your information on series and parallel. batteries arent that badly priced. i get a brand (cant think of the name) from wal-mart for $1/4AA or $1/8AAA; anyways, if you read the back of the package, they are made by rayovac and are just as good, just no 'name brand'. in my experience, they last just as long as energizer.

Friday, September 21, 2007 5:36:30 PM ok, an easy way to know this isn't true: AA batteries are 1.5 volts. the battery that supposedly has the 32 inside it is 6 volts. 6 divided by 1.5 is 4 |

Friday, September 21, 2007 4:43:56 PM If one had to make a list of stupid people, then anyone who mentioned that these batteries might not work correctly would be able to be some of the easiest individuals to tag and put on the list. It is kind of suspect that this person has a large 1.5 battery and even two sets of these in the pictures for this video. Very odd...
