Oh, and this isn't about Christians or Americans or pot-bellied pigs . . . well it's sort of about pot-bellied pigs. But I digress, it's about some disgustingly retarded women. Period.

The bashing is useless. And remember, if you want to use television personalities to judge a nation and it's people, I'm sure we can look up some of yours to evaluate your intelligence as well.

So they're being metaphorical here, I get it. But if someone really believed the Earth was flat, I wouldn't say they were wrong or right. We can't be sure about anything, even if we're 99.99% certain.

HOWEVER! However, there is one exception to the whole "don't be sure thing": North Dakota is still just a myth. If you believe in North Dakota, you've got to be some ignorant, sub-mediocre bag of flaming interstellar dog waste. Thank you for your time.

I think the point she's trying to make is that it doesn't matter if the world is flat or not. What matters is how you support yourself and your family. However, the way in which it was said makes her seem extremely stupid...

This has nothing to do with America and everything to do with the fact that the women from the View are drating stupid. This is a simple fact known to everyone but the most simple-minded housewives in the country where I live.

I think she thought it might be a trick question, and was just trying to cover herself.

People who make fun of christians calling them ignorant, aren't they also being ignorant?

What does this clip have to do with religion? Sure, many Christians thought the world was flat, but does that really have to do with religion?

it's funny how it's all taken literally until it's proven incorrect, at which point it becomes metaphorical.

Every person who read the bible 500 years ago really thought god made everything in a week. Now you ask people who've read it or know the story, and each day was so many millions of years and the creation story was one big metaphor.

But of course there's still your people who believe the earth is barely 10,000 years old and everything really was created in a week.

^ its funny how you can just choose what is to be metaphorical, and what actually happened, as there are no rules to that sort of thing.

-there are no parts of the bible believed to have been written by God or Jesus. Before you Christian Bash, know a bit about what you're talking about.-

I could have swore the bible was "the word of god". I didn't specifically mean he picked up a pen and wrote a chapter, I meant he's the direct inspiration (i.e. "god said this is how it is") behind quite a few parts.

Him telling someone to write something is just as good as him writing it, isn't it?

Every single person here who didn't immediately realize that this clip was taken out of context is an idiot. Of course they are not talking literally. They are speaking metaphorically.

What about the parts written by the big man?

there are no parts of the bible believed to have been written by God or Jesus. Before you Christian Bash, know a bit about what you're talking about.

everyone chooses what to believe in. God, Angels, Fairies, Nothing, or the flying spaghetti monster, it's their choice.

You have no proof that you are right, I have no proof that I am right. So let's just agree to disagree and sing hippie songs.
