"People shouldn't have to look behind them to make a turn when they already have to devote attention to what's in front of them." What? A few of these people were just doing a lane change, which means they are totaly responsible for whats behind them. This just goes to show you that when you drive you have to be paying total attention to your surroundings %100 of the time. It is why cars have mirrors, but also why they take points off in your driving exam if you don't physicaly turn your head and look behind you when you change lanes. On the other hand, I'm not totaly sure how a giant train could end up in your blindspot... |

It haz a stagd flavrYeah, i really think this was staged, but, it still teaches us that there are some lame people that drive and fail at life. I think its staged because their souls would have been raped and thrown into a dumpster if that really happened. |

finlax97, ratter201 - it's just the same as having trams. Cities that come to mind that have trams include Manchester, London, Prague, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Berlin, Milan, Hong Kong, Buenos Aries, Cairo...Thing is, I suspect it only takes getting nailed once by the train/tram to make sure you don't do it twice. |

Yea...I'm with rattler201...sure everyone should be watching where they are going but was it really a good idea to let the train run on the same streets as the cars without any kind of barricade? (like a normal railroad crossing) |

Manchester's Metrolink mirrors are mainly so the driver can make sure passengers are loaded/unloaded properly. As for it being on the same road as the cars, it is a lot, but not alongside them usually, usually just crossings. |

Aye Manchesters Mets do have mirrors and cars arent usually on the same road, but a few roads. Pedestrianised zones for teh proverbial win. |
