Why doesn't MTV just play music videos now? I remember when there only used to be a couple of programmes on and it was all music. Now there's barely time for any videos, and it's usually only for the top 10 - so you can't hear anybody who isn't doing so well in the charts but may well be one of the best artists around.

Firstly, I really have no idea who the hell Tila Tequila is, and I really don't give a damn about the lives of celebrities or people that shouldn't be celebrities in the first place, but it bothers me that there are people that DO watch this kind of crap. For the rest of us, move along, change the channel, and good riddance.

America, this will be the steamiest pile of elephant shart yet to be compared to the mountainous pile of whale stank that is modern television. Turn off MTV. Think for yourself. For the sake of our future.

....which results in the final episode being a monstrous orgy between all of the contestants...as well as some of the filming crew...the producers...all of Tila Tequila's Myspace friends....a ferret...

"Then there is the "We look at today's youth and market shows that reflect them"

And then Kids see it, and say "Oh, thats us, lets do that"

And Viacom see this and SDays "Oh, thats them, lets market it"

Only it gets worst each time... like a giant Super Mirror reflecting apon itself."

Wow you've said everything I've wanted too but never found the right words. I couldnt have said it better.

okay, appart from Flavor flav having competition, I dont see the problem, yes MTV used to be a music station, and I also remember it, but if adults want to make total and utter fools of them selvs acting like Neandertalers on National and International tv, all I can say is thank you for making my life seem normal uncomplicated and thankfully sane.

My, what a large forehead she has... other than that she is relatively attractive. >.> I wonder how her personality is though.

OK, I am going to be on both sides of the boat...

First off I say I do not admire and I think she is WAY out of control, but...

Guys (and dolls)-I happen to believe in capitalism, and if she is truly doing what she wants, good for her. I will be the first person to say that Starbys sucks, but these businesses and people started somewhere, some time ago. If you worked hard, made millions and created a market empire, then people would hate you too, even though you started out way down here on an IAB comment section.

My only beef is how this affects children and adolescents. I still believe advertising to children under 12 should be illegal.

MTV = stupid spoiled whores with orange skin, pounds of glitter eyeshadow and hair with black streaks under the bleach blonde dye. They want to be famous, so they ask daddy to get them onto a show, but they're not really special enough to be anything but on a stupid, badly acted reality dating show where all dialog is some bad sex reference.
Um.... yeah, not considered entertainment in my opinion.

no wonder she has so many freinds on myspace!

She is total slut!!! just look at those videos!...no just kidding don't.

still we should be taking moronic dating shows OFF tv, not coming up with new ones.

but i guess mtv said 'sex sells, therefore we will make a fortune off of this chick. She'll have sex with anyone!!! on camera!!!'

and also, i agree with KoalaMeatPie...i just think it was a bit too long of a rant.

Is that what it takes to be popular on MySpace? Look like a whore and play crappy music? Heck... I can do that.

MTV sucks nowadays.
Who the hell CARES if a whore from the Internet wants to place her personal ad on TV? Might as well accept everyone else while they're at it since they no longer play music - which is funny since it's called "Music Television".
And they have 3 networks, I think. That's sad. So now Spanish people will be brainwashed with MTV Tres, and then they'll go even farther, and farther with hundreds of crap networks that turn regular people into retarded zombies that can't wait to get home and watch Laguna Beach and stress over what to wear the next day... argh..

I still must ask this question...
How the heck can you spend a whole day on myspace? There's NOTHING to do on there and if all your friends are offline, then you're screwed. HAH.
I think it's more sensible to hang out at fanfiction.net all day, but that's just me :P
Yesh, I'm a bookworm.

And Tila really isn't that big of a deal. Round up a bunch of asian girls, dress em in skimpy outfits and dye them blonde. OMG! TILA CLONES!

MTV is supposed to be Music Television... not RTV; Reality Television. (no reality in that though.)
