Friday, August 24, 2007 6:24:24 AM I'm pretty sure the 'if you cannot read this do not use this product'y thing was supposed to be humurous...And some of these made sense, and were understandable. The washing machine and vending machine were good labels, many silly-a-teenager try a washing machine ride, and many, many people try to knock down the snack that gets stuck. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 6:47:50 PM Just thought I'd add- lottery tickets are printed on thermal paper. heat seriously buggers them up. people I know (like my brother) will iron out money if it is crumpled. i'm serious.so ironing a lotto ticket isn't as weird as you would imagine. |

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 1:37:56 PM I'm sure the penis one was staged, but some of the others are just a direct result of our litigious society that we have created. |

Monday, August 20, 2007 10:28:14 PM For every warning label there is a victim of their own stupidity that caused it to be placed on the product. This prevents what I like to call...natural selection, which is why we have so many idiots running around. |

Monday, August 20, 2007 12:51:56 PM Of course, the need for 'stupid' warning labels like these began after that idiot woman sued McDonald's when she spilled hot coffee on herself. |

Sunday, August 19, 2007 10:13:27 PM The Lotto ticket one is actually really, really important- for the same reason it says "avoid heat". Those lotto tickets, like a lot of ink-less reciepts, use laser/heat to print. Applying heat makes the paper go black on one side. Therefore, winning lotto ticket + extreme heat from an iron = completely black (and useless) piece of paper. Whoever took the picture is just ignorant to that. |

Sunday, August 19, 2007 7:30:43 PM The warning on the phone book : "Do not use while operating a moving vehicle" is from the same phone company that advertised a 'travel-size' phone book. |

Sunday, August 19, 2007 10:47:38 AM I also saw one that said, "Do not paint" on a really old mobile phone. And one said "May contain cherries" That was on a cherries jubilee.... |

Sunday, August 19, 2007 12:57:32 AM I didn't think the sitting on the oven door thing was that stupid. Some people might actually do that. And not just stupid ones either. |
