Thursday, August 16, 2007 12:40:35 AM so would 436 milligrams of caffeine in 1.4 litres of energy drink, plus a couple of glasses of coke be safe?If not I'm screwed. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 11:02:22 PM Nicole: Caffeine IS a drug. You don't even know the definition of the word "drug" and you're trying to tell us what is and isn't healthy?Energy Drink... drinkers: A standard cup of coffee has more caffeine in it than any energy drink. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 9:10:24 PM She said last night: "Coffee is fine in moderation and really does pick you up, but I just overdid it. I didn't realise what could happen, so I hope other people learn from my mistake." I don't think anyone can surpass your idiocy enough to try something as stupid. I mean, really, she thought she'd do that and she'd be fine!? What a twat. On another note, I can't have caffiene. I drink one frappucino and I'm brain dead and shaky the rest of the day. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 8:58:08 PM You can also OD on caffeine but it takes a bunch to do it. The easiest way is a Grande Late from star bucks. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 7:55:18 PM Actually, five hours of sleep isn't plenty at all. It's actually a health risk. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 7:41:12 PM " Norwish, I love you. As soon as I saw "coffee overdose" I thought of that episode of Futurama."Haha, me too. Also, why is this news? This isn't that shocking.. Alot of caffeine = that happens. I drank an entire redbull spiked with a bottle of tequila (I had never had a redbull before, so I didn't know what it tasted like.. and I didn't know my friend had spiked it). I didn't go to the ER.. But having an adreniline rush for an entire day is NOT fun.. it hurts afterward, alot. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 2:59:56 PM It was caffeine intoxication, not a coffee overdose. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 2:42:20 PM Trust me, I know exactly how she felt. I tried a 'Life Force' energy drink a while back, and I started feeling really weird. Then in my 5th hour my heart started racing and my face and hands went numb. I had to be taken out in a wheelchair.Turns out life force had like, 200 or 300 milligrams of caffeine and it's not approved by the food and drug administration. I only drank half of the bottle. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 1:49:26 PM ...is it just me or is it extremely obvious that you can overdose? And yeah, looks like I'm too late for a futurama reference. |
