Burning man seems like something I'd like to check out. Waterboy...not so much. The culmination of the event is the burning of some 50-foot tall wooden mannequin, so having the antithesis of a giant effigy in the middle of the festival seems silly.
Then again, I suppose nothing about the gathering makes sense...Still a good video. |

From what I have seen and read, it is a huge drugged up, freaky festival celebrating the earth, art and artists and creativity. Except there is most definately an underlying theme of sex and perversion. There are alot of pagan style rituals and there are a few "temples" dedicated to various things. Weird. I don't think I could go, because my sister-in-law and her hippy-wanna-be boyfriend are that kind of bizarre and after a while you just want to stab them in the eye for all the retarded crap that dribbles out of their mouths. |
