it looked like they only used a handful of polaroids, the rest was computer graphics but still really well done...

This is awesome!

This was one of my cousin's assignments, as an animation major at RIT (he's the one in the film). I guess they only had a window of about 30 seconds to etch the swirl patterns into each polaroid before the chemicals set.

That must have cost a lot of money. Has anyone seen how much Poloroid film costs? With digital cameras so cheap nowadays, I am surprised those kinds of pictures still exist.

I'd swear it was all done on computer, but I'll believe them when they say it was actually done with polaroids....though I still say some of it was computer editted.
